Want to get rid of the annoying adverts? The answer is simple. There are 4 levels of advertising on AnimeOTK:
Level 1: (Your Level, guests and members with 0-9 posts) has maximum advertising.
Level 2: (A user with 10 or more posts who has been a member over two weeks) have vastly reduced advertising (including removal of the large full screen closable adverts)
Level 3: (A member who has been registered over a month and has over 50 posts, or has a special account like "artist" or "writer" sees minimal advertising.
Level 4: (VIP Donators) receive no advertising.
All donators of $10 or more will never see an advert on our site again!

The picture is really lovely. The golden colors give it a very warm and charming atmosphere. The six characters and their clothes are nicely done, and I like the numerous details (such as the flower tied to the ankle of the maid on the left). The setting is gorgeous ; I'm especially fond of the golden vine clinging to the stone.

Cute girl, the guy looks rather serene about his paddling duties. I like the feet propped up on the couch too, and the socks on both make it feel like a relaxed atmosphere.

Okay people, listen up. After discussing matters with the contest entrants, we decided to open the story contest--remember that?--to wider voting. That's right! I have taken it upon myself to create a blog where users can visit should the unlikely event happen again where AnimeOTK or any of its associated sites go down for some reason or another.
This blog can be found at the following location: http://otk-server.blogspot.com
please add this to your book marks and hopefully we shouldnt need it but it should remove any confusion when problems occur and stop some of the griping of users who have lobbied for this.
on another somewhat related note, users should take note that the IRC server is hosted remotely and can be accessed by the following IP 64.32.1.40 with an IRC client, which is in essence another way to stay connected should problems occur meaning there is always an avenue of contact with the Administration of the site and its staff members.
