Ilyana looked at Deitrich with pleading eyes wanting him to explain things.

Deitrich half-smiled at the Major when she came in, "As you know I am Deitrich. I am the supposed dead son of a high ranking man, Ilyana is my sister though she took her mother's maiden name when she joined because my father had ordered the acadamy not to let his 'little girl' in because he didn't want her becoming a mechwarrior and suffering the same fate I did." He sighed, "In reality I suffered a far worse fate than death and had been enslaved by WoB. Something Ilyana was unaware of untill she saw me on your screens. I used that pattern when approaching in a friendly manner, because that's how my squad was taught, and my mech has really only been repainted. . ." he explained.

Ilyana looked at the major, "I wasn't entirely sure but. . ." she pulled out the com headset she had in her pocket and set it on the table. "this is linked only to his mech . . . I had to make sure it was him, if any other voice had replied. . . I wouldn't have done anything. . ." she said still looking guilty for some reason.

Deitrich looked at him, " Capt. Deitrich Crifton. 963-199-0142." he replied, "You've my apologies but I cannot recall the group I was with at the time. . I've. . . been through alot. . ." he added looking away remorsefully.

"The queshtion i have, is how do we trust you? the word happens to be very good at makeing people think there right. it'd be easy to try and slip a spy in with your reckord." Natalia said.

Deitrich looked at Adam, "I just got used to my mech and refused to use any other. ." he replied then looked at the major, "Major, you've no reason at all to trust me. My only true credentials died when I was captured, and the only one on this ship that would vouch for me is my sister and her judgement is clouded by our relation. I've been with the Word of Blake for quite a while now, they could have brain washed me and trained me to infiltrate you using my past records as a bit of a crutch." He sighed and looked her directly in the eyes, "Major, all I can truly say on my behalf is that though I was forced to fight for them, I never fought with them. My loyalties never changed, though up untill now any attempt to approach the side I've considered friendly . . I've been met with gunfire aimed at me." he replied. "I understand your waryness to say the least." he added.

Deitrich looked at her, "I'm saying you should do what you see fit in this scenario. If the Brig is your choice then so be it. After all I'm not to be trusted. I could be playing mind games right now." he said in an almost joking tone but one with a very serious edge. He knew this wasn't a joking situation.

"allright. for now your confined to your room. 3-G on the third level, your forbidden to enter outher crewmembers cortors or the Mech bay untell i deem you clear." she said. "Ensign." she added. "Next time you have a secrite tell me before lives are in danger." she said. "Dismissed both of you" she said.

Ilyana just nodded still looking rather uncomfortable. She seemed a little pale, "It wasn't so much a secret Major. . I . . didn't know he was still alive untill I spoke to him . . " she said softly almost weakly.
