Want to get rid of the annoying adverts? The answer is simple. There are 4 levels of advertising on AnimeOTK:
Level 1: (Your Level, guests and members with 0-9 posts) has maximum advertising. Level 2: (A user with 10 or more posts who has been a member over two weeks) have vastly reduced advertising (including removal of the large full screen closable adverts) Level 3: (A member who has been registered over a month and has over 50 posts, or has a special account like "artist" or "writer" sees minimal advertising. Level 4: (VIP Donators) receive no advertising.
All donators of $10 or more will never see an advert on our site again!

What makes it all the more infuriating is that all of this alternate-reality crap was necessary to give readers what they wanted: Spider-Man as a family man, trying to balance being a superhero with being a father, without actually making Spider-Man a family man, because "Will Spider-Man beat the Rhino in time to make May's softball game" isn't exactly material for a 20 issue crossover once-a-generation-that-happens-every-year event.
Erm, I apologize for the rant. I'm just bitter. Regardless, amazing as always, Spanka. Though, I can't help but point out that Mary Jane and Gwen were best friends, so MJ wouldn't call Gwen a skank...
I haven't bothered to keep up with the current continuity; are they seriously trying to bring in Mayday Parker and yet still keep that sold-his-marriage-to-Satan thing in place?
One word - BRILLIANT! I love the concept of the superheroine copping a spanking - this is an all time classic and up there with your Dr Occy one. More please!
LOL! I must sympathize with Mary Jane, she had a sweet, simple role as the girlfriend of Peter Parker (Spider-Man), then Marvel's writers had to tamper with their characters' pasts and futures--no wonder the young woman is confused, and taking it out on the bare behind of a youthful super-heroine who may or may not be related to her.
Of course, I agree that DC isn't any better, sometimes featuring numerous versions of the same character.
Hopefully, Mary Jane will soon get a Marvel comic book editor bare-bottom-up across her lap, and perhaps Lois Lane a DC editor likewise... --C.K.
