Want to get rid of the annoying adverts? The answer is simple. There are 4 levels of advertising on AnimeOTK:
Level 1: (Your Level, guests and members with 0-9 posts) has maximum advertising.
Level 2: (A user with 10 or more posts who has been a member over two weeks) have vastly reduced advertising (including removal of the large full screen closable adverts)
Level 3: (A member who has been registered over a month and has over 50 posts, or has a special account like "artist" or "writer" sees minimal advertising.
Level 4: (VIP Donators) receive no advertising.
All donators of $10 or more will never see an advert on our site again!

I want to say that I do think your storylines are creative, and you draw such fun, expressive girls and teachers and nuns! These comics have definitely made me laugh as I follow them, even though I'll admit that by all means, I like different kinds of spankings. But there's something about it that makes me appreciate it anyway...well, frankly, I envy your ability to color traditionally with colored pencils. And of course, I do find myself laughing at the antics of these girls. They're creative spanking scenarios! So there are plenty of things to enjoy about your art, even if my personal tastes are different. In other words, you can make me like something I usually don't. (:
That said, it is your choice whether or not to post the original, unedited ones if you find them too severe, but I will say this - there are really severe works on here already. Akanamazu's gallery comes to mind, actually. Admittedly, some things squick me out, but in a lot of cases, it's stuff I can just turn away from and click the "back" button...but you know, the good thing about fiction is that it's not real, and as a writer, I can tell you - I think up a lot of dark things for storylines. Doesn't mean I'll act these dark deeds out myself. So...yeah. Not sure how dark you're talking, but I suggest exploring the galleries a bit to see just how many people do like some very extreme pictures. I may not be one of them, but it's not my art, it's yours!
(I swear I had a point in all that, and I hope you understood what I was trying to say and take that as encouraging. I can be rather blunt and rambly when I'm sleepy.) xD

And Dave, I'm sorry u couldn't have gone to college, but for me it wasn't easy either but I never give up. And now I do love it, even when I don't sleep in days. The only thing I can say is that it's never too late to get what you want.

Alright folks, you know the drill. Check the contest gallery, then vote for the one you feel made the best use of the 'Historical Spankings and Spankings During History' theme!
Voting runs from now until September 7th.
But don't just vote! Tell us who you voted for, and why. Was it a clever idea that struck your fancy, your favorite historical period, or what? Artists crave feedback. It is like delicious mind honey to them. Without it, they wither and die.
So that we don't end up with a bunch of dead artists on our hands, there will also be a second winner determined by a Judge's panel, with feedback included for the entries along the lines of CC's contest. Just to be on the safe side.

The theme:
Historical Spankings and Spankings during History
As discussed in the ideas thread. Spankings and Pairings can be at any time in history as well as the place. Ancient Egypt, Ancient China, Victorian England.
Alternate histories are allowed but need to be more historical based than steam-punk.
Time-travellers welcome, but its not the idea.
Create an image showing a spanking either in your favourite period of history or historical in any context that appeals to you~
The Judging:
By popular demand, there will be two winners chosen: one via public vote, the other via a panel of judges.
Closing Date for entries Saturday 14th August, 2010.
