My guess is that Zel is looking for adventure and some quests but he ends up becoming more of a burden than anything else, so he tries to inquire the Princess’ help.
Btw, did you want an older sister Zelda, or one who’s younger but knows how to deal with intruders? I’ve comished a comic back then where Young Zelda turns out to be quite the little fighter and is able to subdue intruders who dared cross her paths.

Well, the Zelda scenario, I think, could include those different people somehow, Zel just goes from one house to another.

And of course, maybe around now in the forest they can ask Rhei who he is and all that sort of thing, since they've bonded quite a lot.

I see my gave you the clue! I propose they all meet up at the Mad Hatter's tea party, and they have that cry in Tulgey Wood (it can be a REALLY beautiful scene), and a final encounter with the Queen of Hearts. Since she likes red decorations so much, this news doesn't bode well for their bums...

Hmmm, I don't know about the caterpillar and his stubby little limbs, but I do think that after the flowers give ALL THREE a spanking (hey, there are enough leaves for that!), They come across the caterpillar to grow again and go to the Dutchess's house. THERE, I believe, the Dutchess could spank Matilda on her own, while she orders Alice and Rhei to take a baby to a certain crossroads. Mathilda will rejoin them later, to where a certain character tells her to go

Yeah, I think something can happen, but depends which games you have played. Normally, I’m up for mixing different references from universes like what BOTW did in a way. It doesn’t have to be fully concrete.

A pot owner or shopkeep who immediately reacts when someone breaks her pots. And one who hates it when someone is low on rupees yet tries to bargain with crappy IOU’s or downright steals.

Also for plot details around, seeing as we’re doing both characters, we can squeeze some in or combine them with other characters.

As for characters who actually know how to spank, I honestly don’t see anyone knowing how to do so because it’s beyond their “intelligence” or in other words, they’re not even experienced. Maybe the Caterpillar could make smoke signs but how else would be know?

The only character I see befitting is the Queen. And the flowers I also like them to do so on the duo.
