See, we didn't get to do anything cool like that...she just tried to turn our own given names into their Spanish counterparts. Some of them worked...some not so much. Me, I was just irked.

We got to pick our own French names. We got a list, and I wanted the name Fleur, even though it wasn't on the list. So I was the only Fleur that my ancient, ancient, annncient teacher ever had, which I thought was pretty rad.

I went to a very poor school that half assed it so none of them were hard. My name got butchered on a daily basis because she kept trying to translate it into a language it wasn't meant to be in and that pissed me off.

I did not want to take spanish at all. French was the easy class. Quiz every friday. In spanish, they had quizzes every day and couldn't speak English on Thursdays.

Surprisingly enough I was able to translate most of that. I didn't take French though, I took Spanish and hated every second of it. But alas it was what was available.
