oh no, i love the princes' in the tower story. it's one of the few things from that era that i kinda know about.

i know! But that's hsitory for you. Any dynastic assasinations are usually followed by killing off or banishing the rest of the family. Just think of Richard III and the princes in the tower and all that jazz. (and, in that case, even getting rid of them in a tower didn't stop political imposters like Lambert Simnel and Perkin Warbeck pretending that they were the grown-up princes and trying to be figureheads for a cue. Because he made the mistake of not loudly announcing that they were dead).

it's genuinely one of the most horrible things you can imagine. whether or not it is true that she died in that manner, it's appalling that when they killed off caligula (which could be debated as necessary) they also had to kill caesonia, and a child of two!
