Well, in general. There are differneces in a level of gruesomness, and also the witch take Gretel as her disciple at some point.

Well, I'm not sure we need to do it if you haven't seen the movie, it was just a random thought. I thought that teh witch could punish Gretel and she could probably spank Hansel, as he's one really irritating little boy...

Well, it's vaguely based on the fairy tale of the (almost) same name, but it's a "visionary", "artistic" horror. The difference is also taht Gretel is in her late teens and Hansel is a young kid.
The movie itslef is pretty bad and I won't recommend it, but just randomly thought it might have some plot possibilities. )
