I'm sorry I missed your reply, my concentration isn't so great just now. You certainly don't need to apologise for not knowing something, we all have vast gaps in knowledge we would not have time to do anything else! The fault is more mine for being so sure I was right!

The books are very funny, sometimes a little scary in the earlier ones and more farcical as the series continues but always very enjoyable. As something of a wordsmith yourself I suspect you might enjoy them. Disclaimer: I've already displayed my fallibility!

Well that explains it then! So, apologies for my ignorance but I had not heard of this Stephanie Plum character (though that nice Mr Google has helped my understanding). The shared first name and likeness to your imagining of her are in fact purely coincidental.

Ms Plum sounds interesting though and (in another remarkable coincidence) I am working on an idea for a new comic about a bounty hunter, but I still have some work to do on the story. Maybe I should check her out for inspiration!

I toyed with keeping this in the comments section but in the end think it a little too off topic. The Stephanie Plum to whom I referred is a character in a series of very amusing novels about a hapless bounty hunter set in Trenton New Jersey. Your drawing of her is pretty much how I picture her from the description in the books and the escapade of slithering through windows in ungainly fashion also spot on. The books are mainstream and filled with wonderful outlandish people, kinkiness is never far away although not our favoured variety.
