I'm doing fine, thanks for asking. So, we never really figured out a reference for Kiyoi if I ever make a comic about our RP. When do you think we can do that? I could probably gather up some images that I think might represent Kiyoi's looks and you could choose which ones look the most like her. What do you think of that idea?

I just remembered something funny I thought of awhile ago. It's not really an idea for one of our RPs (but it can be if you want it to be). Wanna hear?

They were KIA. Her grandmother is bedridden, which makes it really hard to care for her granddaughter. Airi has no siblings, aunts/uncles, or great aunts/uncles (and by now, her grandma's parents died of old age, and her grandma isn't sure where Airi's mother's relatives are). So that means the only family she has left is her bedridden grandma, or her grandfather who isn't even aware of her existence.

So the grandma sends out four ninja: two to care for Airi and take her to Jiraiya once the other two track him down. Her grandma sends a few photographs (one of herself and Jiraiya, another that has her and her son, and then one more of her son, his wife, and Airi) and a letter, explaining everything and begging him to please take her in. These letters are given to him when he meets Airi and the two ninja temporarily caring for her.

Hmm. Alright, but it makes me wonder what happened to Airi's parents?

Well, it's rather simple: maybe do a flashback to when Jiraiya meets 3-year-old Airi, and finds out from the two ninja that are escorting her that she's his granddaughter. I can imagine that maybe her grandmother sent a few items to help Jiraiya jog his memory of her, like possibly a very old photograph of them together.
