Let's say yes, I like the idea of being spanked by the nurse, with few witnesses but who can enjoy the show, and then taken back to class.

I thought that the nurse could punish her on the spot and then escort her to the class with freshly spanked butt, but any option is ok with me if you have specific preferences.

I admit I like both of the prompts you mentioned. They both have some interesting kinks.
That of the student absolutely includes temperature measurement and tests to discover the deception.
Harry Potter's one could still use some magic tricks to make the situation a little more particular (I imagine the discipline of wizards a little vintage)

I might be slightly more oriented towards the first prompt.
