Want to get rid of the annoying adverts? The answer is simple. There are 4 levels of advertising on AnimeOTK:

Level 1: (Your Level, guests and members with 0-9 posts) has maximum advertising.
Level 2: (A user with 10 or more posts who has been a member over two weeks) have vastly reduced advertising (including removal of the large full screen closable adverts)
Level 3: (A member who has been registered over a month and has over 50 posts, or has a special account like "artist" or "writer" sees minimal advertising.
Level 4: (VIP Donators) receive no advertising.
All donators of $10 or more will never see an advert on our site again!

Thanks. I was probably too defensive there in all fairness, but I'm all about systems and mechanics, that's what I was most proud of when making it. And I think it would have been better to go for more open areas without mazes and narrow corridors, with wandering encounters you can see on the field (instead of random), but it's too late to make that kind of change. Still, I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Felt the need to say something after seeing what happened in the gaming thread.
Frankly, those people whining about how the game has combat are simply being ridiculous; having played some of the game, yes, the random encounters are quite frequent, but that could easily be fixed with a patch or maybe the infinite use item that you made clear was available in your opening message in the thread! The game could easily be played by both people who want combat and those who don't, they just apparently couldn't be bothered to read anything I guess.
One of my favorite games on here is The Infused, which has several battles throughout the game including random enemies (though not set up as random encounters like Pokemon, they're sprites you can run into). It is one of the few games on here I have actually bothered to replay, so don't go feeling like no one likes combat or having anything to do other than "look at pictures and press buttons".
