/ John Steinbeck's classic novel Cannery Row contains many vignettes that connect loosely, if at all, to the main narrative. These mini-stories tell small tales of the lives of some of the other people inhabiting early-1940s Monterey. While rereading the novel today, this thing came unbidden into my head and I wrote it down in about an hour. It ended up as a sort of poem to the things I enjoy about being an ageplay top.
Wow. Just wow. You packed a lot of feeling into a short piece. Sometimes even the most entertaining story will fade quickly from memory. This, however, is the kind of tale that stays with a person for a while.
I'm with Iconoclast, really memorable. While the subject was really sexy and seductive and all that wonderful stuff, the story itself was really heartwarming, and felt complete at the end. Not something you get very often in a spanking story.
