Want to get rid of the annoying adverts? The answer is simple. There are 4 levels of advertising on AnimeOTK:
Level 1: (Your Level, guests and members with 0-9 posts) has maximum advertising. Level 2: (A user with 10 or more posts who has been a member over two weeks) have vastly reduced advertising (including removal of the large full screen closable adverts) Level 3: (A member who has been registered over a month and has over 50 posts, or has a special account like "artist" or "writer" sees minimal advertising. Level 4: (VIP Donators) receive no advertising.
All donators of $10 or more will never see an advert on our site again!
Very impressive entry! The spanking content is a bit thin, much like my own entry, but you really nailed the style of everyone's crazy New England racist.
I like how you evoke all of your chosen author's characteristic tics. The near-total lack of dialogue, the massive exposition dumps, the hysterical italics, the fixation on feared miscegenation... it's bang-on. I've read a lot of the author in question, and this is the best imitation of his style I've ever seen. Nice work!
Thanks Emily. I think the hardest part about this was finding a way to work spanking into one of his kind of stories. Something tells me I won't be the only one having that problem.
For once, I didn't have any trouble figuring out who the author was ! Of course, the fact that the scenario and atmosphere you used are very close to his work helped a lot.
I also think you've done a very good job of capturing the features of the author's style (as well as the usual structure of his stories). The "retro feel" is very enjoyable. Your descriptions do a good job of creating an atmosphere.
Inserting some spanking into this kind of horror story was quite a challenge, but you've succeeded very nicely.
Wow IC Onoclast, this was really a fantastic entry. I think I have read Lovecraft before, but it's hard to say for certain, however the way you styled your story was very familiar. So maybe I have in the past, and just don't remember. Regardless, I thought it was brilliantly done; I think the language throughout the work was very powerful, and I felt it was very professional. ^^ Like it was reading a portion of a real novel.
The story itself was quite eerie but indeed in a unique plot and was very entertaining. I was very curious about the entire thing as it all unfolded, and I still enjoy the mystery being left glazed over the entire thing by the not fully resolved ending. You did very nice, great work!!
