For a moment, Lucia is disoriented when she opens her eyes. She is lying on a bed, but everything looks unfamiliar. Then she remembers. There had been this guy. A vampire. She heard rumors about them. Living on the streets you hear a lot of things kids usually don't get to know. She probably shouldn't have sneaked after him. But she was curious. A vampire with a gun. That seems odd. She thought they would fight using magic, teeth and claws. Like in a vampire movie. But when this other vampire appeared they started to shoot like normal gangsters. Something hit her in the chest. A bullet. She raises her hand to her chest, but there is nothing. Strange. Did she only imagine this? Or was she in coma and everything healed again? She pushes the blanket aside but as she tries to raise from the bed, she notices that something is attached to her ankle. A nylon cord. She is tied to the bedstead.

I thought if the vampire loses control they would suck her blood. Could also be less dramatic and they seek a child that no one will miss as new clan member. Would she remain a child as vampire by the way?
