On June 21, 2010, autopsy results were released that stated Gray had died of an accidental overdose of morphine and fentanyl, and had also shown signs of "significant heart disease"

According to Jim Root, they are undecided on the group's future, and that it was the furthest thing from their minds. He said that if the group were to reunite, it would take at least 2 years, due to Stone Sour's upcoming album.
