that sounds right. i admit that i imagined aelius as the taller one for some reason.
i sort of imagine spurius as having a short/stubbly beard too, and to contrast what you said you imagine as aelius, perhaps his hair should be a little lighter, and his complexion? with grey eyes?
also ages are hard >.< i imagine they'd be somewhere spanning from 30s-early 40s. since i imagine them as somewhat mature, but not quite middle aged and also still physically fit.

... i think it has become a rule, caligula cannot remain sad/sympathetic/upset for more than thirty seconds without becoming pissed off.

ps- trying to think of how i picture spurius... (and aelius) it's hard.

hmm... thinking about the caligula problem:
perhaps once aelius' leg heals up, and they are back in rome, aelius is guarding caligula's room and he admits that he listened in on aelius and spurius' first time together and begins to mock it, leading to aelius acting hastily and angrily (somehow, don't know how. you can decide that ) and spurius later has to help him think of a way to keep this under wraps (or not, because we could actually have caligula telling germanicus, and germanicus being a little confused/surprised at first, but eventually like "... alright...")

and moran would do it.

hm... wax? shaving? maybe forcing moran to do stuff to himself under moriarty's order? i dunno >.<
