Jungle Book had some live action of obviously Mowgli and the man Village but it was all set on green screen; Lion King would be ALL green screen! And besides, isn't Lion King good enough to not earn its own remake? I mean, it got its own spin off shows, sequels, video games, and even a Broadway musical, but why a remake?

I'll be seeing Beauty and the Beast tonight and so far, I've heard good things about it.

I can see both ways to this; good is that it's trying to promote these underrated films with a remake e.g. Cinderella, Jungle Book, by showing them to the audience and making them appreciate the originals a lot more than they did.

Bad side however can mostly be for money and normally for cash grabbers, latter what I despise in some films released last year and before that. I mean, maybe a remake for Beauty and the Beast is unnecessary because the original was so damn amazing than it doesn't need a remake. Some can show the heart of the originals like Jungle Book which got 95% while some like Maleficent don't.

Oh and guess what? LION KING IS GETTING ONE.

It's a real shame because those are my part of my childhood. Nemo I can see geared towards adults as well.

I have another question for you; what are your thoughts to Disney movies being remade?

Not even other good works like Finding Nemo, Incredibles, WALL-E, or Up?
