Sounds like a pretty fine movie, and I have the feeling I would like Moana quite a bit. I like her sense of adventure, and, though not what she expected, her yearning is satisfied.











She also sounds like a very responsible person, eapecially for one so young.

As for Maui? Of course, he could be in disguise, since in mythological lore, in effect "No one can look on the face of God and live":InGreek mythology Zeus disguises himself to one of his girlfriends, Semele, who is pregnant with his son Dionysus; she tricks Zeus into making him appear in all his glory, which in turn consumes her, but he is able to rescue his son.

As for Maui? He is as you say a prankster, but he must have some sense of responsibility, in his capacity as the creator, to repair some "screw up" or joke gone wrong, so he comes to Earth to repair it--but it seems to me he needs Moana's help and maturity to complete his task.

Hope it gets better. What is it anyway? Work? School? Family-stuff?
