I'm starting to think I spend to much time chatting with WW2 vets, because i'm starting to talk like them. even in cyber space.

My money is because when your just an unknown behind the screen, shielded by the internet, you feel just that much braver. but actually doing stuff IRL is a good bit harder. It's something I think people really need to work on.

Seems like about 75% of the people here are really shy IRL even if they aren't online. or atleast that's what it looks like to me.

It was interesting, Kinda forced me to step up and take the lead in talking. and i'm normally very shy.

You could try that. it's a good way to boost your confidence in speaking, ironically I did that for a bit, had to do a thing for work. well everyone else in my group was shuddering and stammering and going 'uh' a lot. I was able to keep going without saying 'uh' too much.

I'd say as long as it works. One way to get your voice out is to do YouTube stuff. I know some people read stuff or stuff like that, at least I remember seeing some 'blank-reads' stuff on YouTube.

all you need is a mic. and Audacity which is free. it's what I used long ago and far away.
