Karla being a recruit would mostly wear a more functional version of the guard uniform which is a red shirt with an orange-ish yellow long coat and pants.
Nightmare (or Subak as he would be known in draconian) beingA slave would be dressed in very plain yet distinguishing clothing of a single solid color. Being a slave under a wealthier master he would also be cuffed with silver bands around his wrist and neck and ankles that could be locked together magnetically or at least to a specific point. Along with a mental circlet.
