No not entirely sure what you mean, if by the captain being to strict with him? also the RP has only just started, have never really played a RP loike this before.

If you want to get your character to get himeself into a bit of mischeif, maybe at the next port of call, he and the Captain go ashore into the village and maybe Jackie steals something and gets caught, not food, but maybe a small toy or something like that..
