Yeah, it's a pretty well known bug (although I know you're not as familiar with the site etc).
It can't take funny characters like e's with accents, odd fonts, copywrite symbols and triple dots. Another one is some types of punctuation like " " when it's the curly font style ones. Surprise, surprise, knowing that most sites can't take these characters dA deliberately inserts them to prevent copy/pasting from their site to other peoples.

You have to remove the fonts and check for odd characters or replace the " with straight ones otherwise our site can't read the text if you copy/paste it from dA. Just the one and it junks the entire entry. It's tedious and we haven't found a work-around yet other than just doing it the hard way and reading through the copy-paste text removing manually the symbols.
