Oh, I see. But his dad takes it seriously and warns him that from now on it's his call then and how his son gets a spanking, and he'll also be treated like a young kid in other regards since he's still getting spanked (having a curfew, specific clothes, etc). Would taht work?

I think, however, it might be fun to first RP the disput itself, think of some fun arguments in favor of spankings and such. But if you're not interested much, we can do the grown son thing instead, I would love it very much too!

Our hero loses pathetically and their aprents drive home, explaining that their opponent convinced them taht spankings are necessery. At home the stdent gets a serious spanking and tomorrow, since they are genrally spoiled and ill-behaved. their parents exlain it will nwo be a regular thing and teh regimen will cahnge cimpletely.

However, my (not really mine, well) idea just to have it all on the table:
the college or some public institution announces a debate on corporal punishments: are they acceptable, useful or harmful? The young person (he/she up to discussion) takes the part against the spankings to earn additional credit or maybe money for teh debate winner, whatever. They had never been spanked in their life, of course. However, taking part in the debate either requires a pledge in money or can negatively affect students' marks in case of poor performance.

Our hero barely preapres to the debate, thinking atht in 2020's violence on children is impossible to advocate, despite his parents reminders. But alas, his opponent turns out not only to ahve a lot pf personal experience with spankings, but also did great research (we can bullshit facts snd quotes, of course).
