Yes, it’s not the easiest decision to make, hehe. If you have no preference, then perhaps we should go with the show aesthetics as the show fleshed out Lyra’s time with Mrs Coulter a lot more than the movie did? But, really, you can have final decision on that as you’re writing her, and I‘ll choose the matching Lyra. And as for narrative, I agree with the RP focusing on their time in London and not progressing through the story past that!

Okay, that’s good! Ooh, okay. Well, I have watched/read all of them, so I’m happy with whichever. I think I prefer the show to the movie on personal preference as it had more time to explore everything fully, but enjoyed both, and honestly the story is very much the same. For what our Lyra and Mrs Coulter look like, would you prefer to go with the movie or show appearances? I don’t particularly mind. And, yes! I agree that starting where Lyra first goes to live with Mrs Coulter is definitely best!

Sounds great to me! Lyra is a very wild and uncontrollable child, so it fits rather well. Have you read the books? Or seen the BBC adaptation? I know there is a movie too. Depending on what you’re familiar with, we can choose which part of canon to set the RP. Is there anything you would prefer? Such as before or after Lyra finds out Mrs Coulter is her mother? Or, that could potentially be revealed within the RP. I’m all open to ideas!
