If you'd read it you wouldn't be asking "Who does it hurt?" because you'd get that you're completely, utterly, in every single way possible wasting your time and doing the exact opposite of what you should be doing.

If you see a duplicate, Report it.
Like I say on the front page in those aformentioned huge letters: Mods don't read gallery comments for moderation hints and members can't self-move their images.

You're hurting the site by doing absolutely irrelevant and useless effort to point out that you can see an image is a duplicate without actually telling anyone who can do anything about it. You're typing comments to thin air. I only knew you'd made it because another mod after removing the picture noted to me "I see despite a front-page story that people are still being stupid" - an exact quote.

So, can you now go to the front page and read what those huge letters say and have in fact said for the last week or so... not to post "This is a duplicate" in gallery comments.
You know as well as anyone that users cannot self-moderate or move their images...
...so why are you leaving gallery comments?
