ah. You'd be more into the 200 ton Assault tank then? or maybe a suit of powered armor with a High powered pulse laser? Or maybe an Arospace fighter? Warship? all that and more in your Local 31st Century battle field. Lol

Lol. like I said man. A lot of ways everyone can find something people like about MechWarrior. For me, I love the way that the Machine's aren't like say Gundam or TitanFall. For one thing, the Pilot is linked in a way to the machine. "The Machine isn't dangerous without a mind to control it." as they said in MW4. But Mech's have a lot of ways that they are weaker then say Gundam or Titan-Fall is Heat. Heat is a mech's worst enemy. Too much heat and your Mech can shut down, or even blow up. Some heat and your machine moves slowly and reacts sluggishly. Fire weapons, more heat. There are about a hundred things that you have to take into account when playing MechWarrior.

That's just why I love it so much. it's not a 'shoot to win' game.

Lol. Ask around. You'll probably find someone who knows SOMETHING about MechWarrior.

Well. It's a game that started as a table top. then a card game. then a PC game. it's RICH in story, the games are AMAZEING. I started playing it as a table top at around 8. then I played MechWarrior 3, I STILL love that game even though it came out close to 15 years ago. it's just one of those rare series that just Cannot be stopped. The books are awesome, and the games are just awesome on another level. There is NOTHING like the Thud of a walking 100 Ton Massave Walking tank.

If you love good sci-fi series. Then you'd love MechWarrior.

A bondsmen is a captured prisoner. When someone is taken as bondsmen, they are given a band known as a bond cord that sits on there right arm. Normaly two strands of rope that have the coulors of the captureing unit. Well they are free to move around they dont hold rank. The idea is that by doing two tasks for there captureing clan, one that is supposed to be a task of Honor and Service, then the cords are cut and that person is then accepted into the Clan that captured them. That's the thing in a nut shell.
