After talking with the girls' mother as to where she was going, Clair left the house for a moment.

She came back sooner than expected. She headed upstairs and knocked on Kaede's door.

"What?" Kaede asked with a soft groan as she opened the door. From the looks of it, she had been taking a quick nap.

"Sorry, Kaede," said Clair, "but I just thought I'd let you know, you won't have to worry about that nasty boy anymore."

"Is he in the hospital?" Kaede asked, blinking a few times and yawning.

"No, but he has been reported to the police, and he does have a very sore bottom right now...plus maybe another place. I had a run-in with him on my way there, and he was trying to steal someone's wallet."

"That's close enough." Kaede said with a bit of a smirk.

Clair smiled and left Kaede to whatever she wanted to do. She headed back to her room and began to fill in her journal.

Certainly, the girls were an interesting bunch. So alike, yet so SO different. Still, their bond was certainly very strong.

A bit later, Rumi came through and knocked on Clair's door.

Clair looked up from her journal.

"Come in," she called, "I don't bite, honest."

She hoped it was one of the teens. If it were their mother, that would just sound silly.

Rumi stepped in, fidgeting some. "Uhm.. do you like tea?" She asked, twirling her hair as she asked.
