Emerald stared at the cake. She was quiet before using her semblance, before Velvet knew it, Emerald had taken the Cake from her and held it. "I...I want to show my feelings for him as well...."she said.

"But I bought that cake for me and him." Velvet argued as while she couldn't see Emerald, her first instinct was to rush towards the door and close it to keep Emerald from escaping.

Emerald didn't try to find a new escape route and decided to mind trick Velvet into a different direction from the door.

Velvet was using her eyes and more importantly her ears to try and locate where Emerald was. She has to get the cake back before Keith comes back. "Emerald give me the cake back, I'm warning you." She gave a warning.

Emerald put the cake down before taking out her weapons.

Velvet hadn't realized this at the moment and were still trying to find Emerald's position to wrestle the cake out of her hands.
