"You know Koto, I think where going to have alot of fun together." Susan said smirking a little as she peered toward the two pieces of paper being pinned to her side of wall. Smiling softy she returned to her side of the room. "Sounds kind of nice too, I'll have to take you up on a bet soon." She said removing her pastel pink flip flops. Smiling she jumped upon her bed and snuggled up with one of her pillows.
"So have you heard about the abounded dorm, the one located deep within the woods?" Inquired Susan as she peered toward Koto. Koto had been kind enough to share something close to her heart, the betting thing for example, so Sue thought it was only right she returns the flavor. |
Koto slid of her white sneakers, placing them by the door. "Sounds good to me. I look forward to your challenge." She said with a smirk of her own, sliding off her pale-green socks and setting them on her sneakers. She went to her bed and laid on her back, stretching a bit. Upon mention of an abandoned dorm, Koto gave Sue a curious look, blinking a few times. "Nope. This is my first time hearing of an abandoned anything.." She replied, but it obviously piqued her interest.

"Well because your my roommate, I guess I'll fill you in." She said sticking out her tongue. "Beside what good would a sleepover be without a good ghost story." She said settling in, evening had fallen and the dorm mothers where going around making a final check on things, soon lights out will be called.
"Around sixty years ago, there was a dorm for middle school students like us." Said closing her eyes as she fell into story telling mode. "This dorm room was located in the woods, okay it was more like a collection of little cabins, connected by a brick paved walkway." Her tone of voice shifted a little and a sense of dread started to work its way into her voice. "Now it was a night like this." She said peering out of the window on Koto's side. "Kind of dark you know, the moon hidden behind a thick cloud bank.. a low whistling tossing the trees around." |
Koto listened intently as Sue started to tell her story. She nodded acknowledgingly at the descriptions of the dorm's location, gulping faintly at the dread in her voice. The description of the night made her cringe in both excitement and being spooked, but she was intrigued. "Wow.. what happened?" She asked, holding her fox closely as she anticipated the next part of the tale.

"Since the dorm room was so far out in the woods.. the staff where kind of lax you know, and well.. there was this one fellow. Who was kind off his titer..." Susan said paling a little. "He kind of snapped that night, tired of being overworked and underpaid.. he well snapped.. and did.." She shuttered.
A minute or two passed before she pressed on with the story. "He killed all the students in the dorm room.. sliced there throats in there sleep. Odd thing is they say nobody woke up.. nobody really knows what happen to him, some say he tried to escape into the woods, but the forest fey that haunt the land.." Once more she had to pause. Mainly because it was hard to recall all the facts to one story off the top of there head. "Anyway, they never found him, and they closed the dorm down. though they did not tear down the dorms.. they kept them up, and from what I've been told, they kept things the same. Down to the students personal items." |
Koto gulped as she described the man that snapped. She cringed upon being told that he cut their throats, making her shiver a bit. Koto fidgeted a bit uneasily as she thought about the idea of forest fae in the woods. "Wow..sounds creepy,." She said to herself. When Sue finished the story, she shuddered a bit and grinned. "Wow! But the funny thing is, this makes me want to go and look one day!" She said with a laugh.

"Maybe I could take you there tomorrow." Susan said blinked as she rolled out of bed and walked over to Koto's bed. Smiling a little she reached down and pulled her covers up around her frame before tucking them. "Sorry.." She said blushing as she stepping back. "I just.. felt like.. you should be given a little TLC.. you know like sisters do sometimes." She said smiling a little as she turned upon her heel and started toward her own little bed.
"See you tomorrow morning, sleep tight and don't let the bed bugs bite." |
Koto blinked as Sue tucked her in, tilting her head. When her new friend blushed, Koto realized just how cute she actually was. At her explanation, Koto blushed a little herself and smiled softly. "Don't apologize for that. And thanks." She replied, yawning as she got comfortable. "Good night to you too." She said, falling asleep rather quickly.

The morning sun broke through the window pane, flooding the room with light and bathing the floor in it. Susan was the first to wake up, sitting up in bed, she chanced a look around her, there was something odd about the room, for one her books had been turned around, the spine now faced the wall. Peering over at Koto's side of the room, she could seen her stuffed animals had been moved, both had joined the stuffed foxie in snuggling with there owner.
"This.." Susan said sliding down upon the floor. "Can't be right," Class did not start for another week, the school was kind enough to give the students a week to settle into there rooms, get to know there roommates and explore the grounds before thrusting them into the word of essays, homework, and insane teachers who demanded perfection from each and every one of there students. |
Koto stirred and sat up, yawning as she stretched. She rubbed her eyes and shifted to stand. She was about to greet Sue, but then noticed her two plushes were now on her bed instead of her desk. "Wh-What in the world..?" She asked, looking around the room before placing the plushes back in their proper place. Koto noticed Sue seemed spooked, so didn't think she was pranking her. "How..?"
