With the passage of time, will there be any 'job' work. Certainly don't mean grind, not a fan of the -10 tasks you need to do daily- while can do -2 things you actually want- thing.

But certain things (summer job) you 'have' to do, but can't if you want to do plot X thing at that time. Then it's a choice to do plot advancement (help friend etc.), or get in trouble with boss.
Always like a little balancing act with concequences in timed schedules, having reasons why I'm getting into trouble as opposed to just choosing the bad option :)

I like Tonto's idea here, honestly. But that sounds tricky to make.
Then again, the whole day cycle sounds tricky to me, so... xD

I didn't think of any part time job work initially, considering the MC will be about 15 or so this time around. Although that would be old enough to be a server or something at a restaurant. However I did have an idea of chores to do everyday at home. This is related to another idea I had based on a sort of 'karma' system present in games like fallout or infamous. Similarly to how those games work, there will be seperate 'factions' you have to maintain good behavior with. I'm thinking Home, School, Work, and Public (which would be shopkeepers and police officers). Each one would have a value attributed to them, and at different levels dialogue will change and opportunities will emerge. There might even be major choices in the game that lose points from one group while adding points to another. In addition, the naughtier your character gets, the more likely they are to be spanked for little things (and more harshly punished), while the good-er they get, the more often they will be able to spank other characters, and the spankings they get will be less severe. Then there will be things like joining the student council requires a certain karma with the school, while joining the local gang requires the opposite.
In addition to what you said, it will be mandatory to go to school every day as a part of being a concrete way to handle time progression. Aside from that, yes , story events will happen every couple of days. There will be loads of reasons to be spanked, as this town has a low population of spankos who you can just ask to spank/be spanked.

Just don't shoot too high unless you're confident in the idea, even a great game can get hurt with too glorious dreams. *Cough* Fable *Cough*

Yeah it sounds great hehe. While also being more immersive (spankings come more naturally), it's also great for replays.

This would also open up different scenarios like Role reversal (Younger person spanking older) plus the machine idea that Najda wanted ;p

Not that there won't be any role reversal, but what did I mention that implied it? Unless i'm missing the connection...
And yes, there will totally be machines.
Also keep in mind, just because the game is more modern, doesn't mean that the supernatural won't exist at all...

You have my full and utter attention now, mate. No idea what implied it either, but that sounds like a good bit of fun, though I'm mostly in these for the submissive material myself I love the variation that you get from it.
Machines are the best, though, especially as they don't care if you did something or not if you're dumb enough to start them. > : D
