"N-now lets not be hasty......" squeaked Naruto as he felt himself jolt a little at the killing intent coming from the words of Shikamaru. "I-I said it because I was really mad"

"Give me a break, Naruto. My mom's nasty, but she's not THAT nasty. If she called you a demon, you must have done something to piss her off - AGAIN!"

"Y-yeah b-but!" stuttered Naruto feeling himself growing smaller as Shikamaru lectured him on his poor choice of words. "Thinking back on it now..... I may have chosen a poor choice of words" Naruto said as he rubbed the back of his neck nervously.

"You don't have the brains God gave a duck, Naruto." Turning, Shikamaru stalked off.
What was with this guy? It seemed he'd made a new hobby out of being disrespectful towards people's mothers of late. Choji had bloodied his face for making an ill-advised joke about his mom, and Lee had wiped the floor with him in w duel for speculating insultingly about his origins. What in the world would make him quit?
(Hey, BorealCatboy, the idea was to have Naruto talk ABOUT someone's mom to people, not necessarily say something rude TO the mom. Maybe he can mess up and get caught backbiting Kibas mom or something. :) Also, could he maybe make ignorant jokes about the mom? That was the original idea.)

Naruto soon enough found himself walking through the park that was nearby his apartment block. He took a moment to himself to sit down and feel the breeze flowing through his unruly hair before having another a kid sit next to him, which he greeted.

The two of them sat down for awhile, with Naruto not paying much mind to the fact that this child was of the Inuzuka clan, a dog was being walked by its owner as they sat down with Naruto commenting. "Don't you think that that dog reminds you of Ms Tsume Inuzuka?"

(That's ok!)
"Well, what's THAT supposed to mean?" the boy demanded.

"Huh what the hell is your problem friend?" Naruto asked with a look of confusion.

"I asked you a question. What do you mean, a dog looks like Auntie Tsume?" The little boys face reddened. "You'd better not be making fun of her or Im telling!"

"Wait a minute your not from the Inuzuka clan are you?" Naruto asked with a look of fright on his face. "I-I mean yeah she does look like a big stupid dog!"

Scrambling to his feet, the little boy fled the apartment. His cries resounded after him. "KIBAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"
