@Sweeny These days there are a ton of options. Mega, dropbox, mediafire, google drive, I'm pretty sure all of those let you upload files and give you shareable download links with a free account.
The important thing is to have something playable by the end. If it doesn't serve the end goal of being playable, don't do it yet. More stuff can always be added after the Jam.
In fact, that's the whole point of a Game Jam, to get people to the point where they have a small kernel of a game that they can expand on later.
Emily and I are working away. We've verified that her idea will work and now we're adding content.
