Mycroft's eyes widened. He lifted Sherlock's small chin with a finger, looking into his red rimmed, tear filled eyes.

"Oh, Sherlock. Of course I love you!" He pressed a kiss onto his forehead, "Little brother... you are like a... son to me. I did this because I love you. I will always, love you, Sherlock."

Mycroft smiled, "Yes, I am," he rose to his feet, Sherlock still in his arms. He carried the little boy over to the corner, setting him down, face to the wall, "Now. I will arrange for lunch after the corner time you so aptly mentioned. No talking, no rubbing, or I'm afraid my boy, you will land yourself over my lap again. Is that clear?"

"Well, brother dear, you've always known me to be something of an eccentric. Now, what did I say about talking?" Mycroft gave a swift slap to Sherlock's already smarting bottom, "Silence, Sherlock."

He said sternly, making his way back to the chair and lighting his pipe. Puffing, he watched his little brother's movements like a hawk.

Mycroft was always an observant man. No matter what, he always had one eye on his brother. Especially when his little brother had just been spanked.

"Sherlock," Mycroft said calmly, "What were the rules I gave you?"

Mycroft's brow furrowed, "Brother, I am fully aware of the excellence of your memory. Do not think me a fool, little boy. What else did I tell you?"

"And yet that is the second time you have done it!" Mycroft sighed shaking his head, "Sherlock," he beckoned with a finger, "you know what I said I would do if you disobeyed me."

Mycroft was less than impressed. He knew that his brother was no dolt and that he could obey orders when he wanted to, but he could be so naughty sometimes.

"Sherlock. What did I say would happen if you either rubbed, talked or moved?"

"Do not argue with me Sherlock," Mycroft warned, smoke curling from his mouth, making him look like, in Sherlock's eyes, a mighty dragon. "I am spanking you again because it is evident that your first punishment had not been effective in teaching you how to behave. The corner is not wretched, you are. You're behaviour is and I intend to put a stop to it now."

Mycroft allowed a small smile to flit across his face. His little brother truly could be adorable, even if he was the naughtiest little scamp in London.

He helped his brother to his feet, only to pull him over his lap.

"We have already talked, Sherlock," Mycroft said, his voice brooking no argument, "and yet when you did you blatantly disobeyed me. I cannot let that go unpunished," he brought his hand down on his small brother's bottom with a powerful smack.
