"How would you know, you're not inside my head!" John answered, his tone unhappy at that moment in time and he winced and yelped loudly at the smacks that graced his poor exposed backside. "Ow! Hey! A-AH! That hurts sir, please!" he wailed, tone growing desperate ever so slightly. "Owww! Okay! I'll be respectful sir!"

"Well the cussing is going to stop young man, do you hear me?" Charles asked as he continued to bring his hand down firmly across the bare bottom, landing left, right and center of the plump body part before he then started to tan the young man's under curves where he knew the most pain would be felt. "It's meant to hurt kiddo, that's what makes it a punishment. Now then, why are you being spanked, young man?"

"No, I'm not Inside your head but your current tone shows me that you're far from feeling really sorry," Christian sighed and shook his head. Evidently they still had a long way to go, "it's supposed to hurt, it's a punishment. And I hope it will remind you to watch your manners."

Canton felt himself become breathless. He blinked fast, gasping and crying out. God, how it hurt so much. He wriggled and kicked, trying to avoid the unforgiving hand that was bearing down on his backside, "Y-you're the one punishing me, you should know!" Canton snapped, turning to glare at Charles.

"I am! I am sorry!! Owww! Please sir I don't like this, please stop!" John wailed, his eyes quickly filling up with hot stinging tears. "I'll be good!!! I-I promise, just stop, please!" he said, not wanting to cry in front of this man since he didn't want Christian to think that he was weak. "Please General Vancouver, sir!" he sniffed, one tear escaping as the spanking raged on.

"Young man, that attitude of yours is going to get you nowhere." Charles said firmly and continued to spank the young man's sensitive sit spots. "Now I'll ask you again," he said, landing ten more smacks before speaking, "Why are you being spanked, Canton Potter?"

Christian delivered five hard smacks to his now deep pink bottom. The boy sounded like he was near breaking point. He fought back the sudden surge of guilt; no, he needed this. He had to be shown that respect was needed if this was going to work, "Will you ever disrespect me in front of my crew again?" He asked, pausing in his spanking, his voice stern.

Tears welled in Canton's eyes, which only made him panic more. He howled as Charles' hand cracked down on his stinging skin. His breath came in short ragged gasps, his breathing difficulties made worse by his efforts not to cry. "I-I swore at you, I raised m-my voice at you and I was d-disrespectful to you, sir!" He gasped, his body shaking. He could still feel the anger, but he was also starting to feel slightly guilty.

John literally hated every moment of his spanking but the young man realized that he had done wrong and so he sort of partially accepted the spanking even though it was really beginning to get him to shed tears. Upon hearing Christian's question, John sniffed, he did feel bad about that and he shook his head, "No!!!! Never!!! I promise, please OWWWW!" he wailed and then let the tears fall freely at the pause in the spanking. "I'm so-o-o-o-o-orry!!!!"

Charles knew that it would be a challenge to break the sassy young man over his knee but it was a challenge he was willing to accept and so he continued to spread the fire over poor Canton's bottom, making sure he didn't hurt him too much he kept note of the skin colour which was a dark pink. "Indeed you did, and I don't appreciate that, Canton." he answered and started to spank his upper thighs. "And will you think twice before you do it again, young man?"

Christian's eyes widened to hear Johns' sobs. Quickly and gently, he pulled the pants up over his burning bottom and gently eased hi, up onto his lap. He didn't even think before wrapping his arms around the crying boy. "It's okay," he murmured, running a hand up and down Johns' shaking back, "you've learnt your lesson now, I forgive you. It's all right, John, shh."

"Yes!" Canton yelped, his eyes widening as he felt Charles' hand start up again, "Hey! I-I said whyI was punished for, c-can't you stop now?!" His voice was tinted with desperation, his vision blurring with hot tears. The man didn't seem to be relenting and he pulled hard at the hand around his wrist, "Hey! I-I said stop!"

John continued to cry like the small child he felt like and when he was pulled up and onto the man's lap he sniffed and gripped Christian's shirt, "I'm sorry sir....I-I am....r-r-really....." he sobbed, trying to catch his breath and grateful for the arms that were wrapped around him. "I-I w-w-wont disrespect you like that a-again....I p-promise..." he sniffed, nuzzling his head against the man's chest.

"I'll decide when I stop Canton." Charles answered, raising an eyebrow though he had to admire how long the young man was holding out. He kept the hand down firmly to his back and continued to spank the bottom firmly, making it bounce and colour under his hand. "If you give me incentive to stop, then I will but so far you've not given me much, young man."

(*gasp* No Eccleston? Yeah, I am ^^ are you?)

Christian smiled, running a hand through Johns' hair. "Shh, I know, I know. It's okay, I forgive you. I know you'll be good now, it's all right," he rocked the crying boy gently back and forth, frankly glad that the spanking was over.

"Aah! Wh-what incentive- Oow! Would th-that be?!" Canton was trying his best to keep the sneer in his voice the pain was growing too much to bear. Tears had started to roll down his face and he tried his best to hold back a sob. General Marlin must be really angry with him. God, it was his first day and he was getting a spanking by his general! What must he think of him? He'd probably fire him after this; after less than twenty-four hours, he would have already lost his job. He must be so disappointed; he must think he was pathetic for getting in so much trouble on the very first day. This job was everything to Canton and at the thought of losing it, he started to cry, sobs racking his body.

John relaxed against Christian, soaking up the positive attention he was being given since when he was young his Dad had walked out on him and his Granddad had died so it was very, very rare he got any kind of nice gesture from another male. He nodded his head and continued to soak the General's shirt with his tears until eventually those ran out and he sighed softly. "Should I apologize to the crew, sir?" he asked, since he had acted up in front of them and now he just wanted to make things right, "And you don't....hate me now, right?" he chewed his lip nervously.

Charles rose an eyebrow and started to spank the young man's bottom, alternating between cheeks and soon enough they started to glow a bright red. "Perhaps that you're sorry? And you actually genuinely feel guilty for speaking like that to the one man who saw potential in you and wanted to give you a chance?" he suggested and then paused in the spanking, "So young man, do you have anything to say?" he asked noticing the tears roll down his cheeks and he sighed, feeling his heart strings being pulled at.

(Omg, no, that episode ruined me for life, I swear to god, I cannot even look at a gas mask any more, that really messed me up. Who's your favourite companion?)

Christian smiled. He pulled out an embroidered handkerchief and pressed it into Johns' hand. "Yes, that's a very good idea, John. But you don't have to do it right now," he frowned at the last statement, thumbing away the tears on his cheek, "No, of course not. if I hated you, I wouldn't go through all the effort of keeping you in line. I punished you so you could learn a valuable lesson, not to spite you, John."

Canton sniffed, tears rolling down his face, "I-I'm sorry," he whimpered, "a-are you going to fire me now? P-please sir, don't fire me, th-this job is all I've got! I don't h-have anything else, please, I'll do whatever you'll say, I-I'll never swear again, I'll never raise m-my voice. Please don't fire me, I-I promise I'll be good!" He felt like he could hardly breathe, his desperate pleased coming in between harsh sobs.
