Brett sweat dropped at the anger. "Uhh.... hurt the birdie?" he said with a nervous grin.

Roy's anger only flared. "NO!" he continued to shout. "SOMEONE COULD HAVE SEEN US!! THEN DO YOU KNOW WHAT WOULD HAVE HAPPENED?!"

Fearing another smart-ass remark, Roy answered his own question...Fortunately he calmed down.

"We could have been reported Brett..." he said. "We would have gotten in a lot of trouble. I don't know what they could do to you, but I could have been demoted, seriously demoted! I could have even been discharged from the military!" He sighed. "Then what Brett?! Then what was I suppose to do?!"

Brett hanged his head in shame. "I don't know. I'm sorry commander. Really I am. I won't do it again."

Roy sighed heavily and put his hand on Brett's shoulder.

"I believe you Brett..." he said. "But I can't let you off with just a warning...I'm afraid I'm gonna have to do more..."

"What do you mean?"

Roy sighed. "Well, if you're gonna act like a kid and disobey me, then I'll treat and punish you like a kid..." he said, matter-of-factly.

"Does that mean I'm grounded or something?"

Roy sighed. "No Brett..." he said, as if his statement had been obvious. "I'm going to spank you; just like the disobeying child you are."

"Spank?! What are you talking about?! I'm no child! You can't spank me!"

Roy narrowed his eyes at Brett. "Do you wish to test that theory?" Roy asked, grabbing him by the arm, not hard, but just enough to hold him.
