Sonic nodded in agreement. "Right. We aren't gonna lose you this time. You are important to us, especially Tails." he said with a smile

Knuckles walked to them with a nod as he crackes his namesake. "Right. I'll keep watch for you if need be."

Tails hid his blush and kept his serious face. "How close are they?"

"You guys..." Cosmo was happy to have such caring friends, taking a deep breath. "A few days away...at least..."

Amy then hopped up. "Then we'll start getting ready now, this picnic was nice, but if these guys mean serious business then we need to be prepared!"

Cream nodded with a smile as she and Cheese started to clean up. "Okay then. We'll have to put this on hold then." she said.

Sonic nodded. "Right Amy. We'll stay near Tails' place just in case things get crazy. " he said.

Cosmo gave a soft smile, but then tensed as she felt a larger presence. "Ngh..."

"Hey, what's wrong...?!" Tails asked, immediately jumping. The girl slowly looked up again. "The closer they get...the stronger the feeling...I don't understand..." she mumbled. "Why does it feel so familiar to me?"

However, the days soon began to pass....

As the days passed, Sonic looked up into the sky, and saw a gleam in the sky. Said gleam started to get larger and larger, and Sonic made out that it was a ship! Was this what Cosmo was feeling? Only way to find out. He stood up and called into the house. "Guys!"

As Sonic called for his able friends, the ship landed just yards away from Tails' workshop.

Tai finally opened his eyes, the boy was basically in hibernation over the period of the trip. "We've arrived....and there's life...just outside..."

Nero awoke from his own mini hibernation. Then nodded with a smirk. "Hmmm..maybe they can give us answers!" he said as he opened the hatch. Once opened, Nero jumped out the seat, flipping in the air and landing on his feet.

Sonic's eyes widened a little bit. "They...look like Cosmo..." he said.

Tai sighed. "The amount of blood lust you have is insane..." he said before he manually hopped out of the pod.

Cosmo looked from the window in secret and gasped a little. "....W-What is this...?! Who are they...?!" she wondered, not initially recognizing them.

Tails skidded out to a halt by Sonic and gasped. "They're...more of Cosmo's people...?!" he wondered.

Nero looked at the hedgehog and Kitsune with a smirk. "So you DO know Cosmo?" he said, crossing his arms. "So you mind telling me where she is?" he asked.

"I'll tell you nothing. Now, who are you boys?"

"I believe we asked you both a question first..." Tai spoke with an emotionless face. "Where is Cosmo...?"

Tails frowned. "Sonic, I'm getting a bad vibe off of them already, I'm sure there's nothing but darkness in them now..."
