"Well, I assure you I'll do my best", the girl said and looked out of the window. She was a bit afraid of what was awaiting her, but it was better than a life on the streets after all.

As she spotted the stone tower, she looked at it impressed. "That's not it...is it?", she asked curiously.

“It most certainly is”. He said very proud of it’s impressive nature. “I think you see why our investors and backers are so important, and why we need to do our best to impress them.”

Magic was a very difficult yet profitable venture after all. Very powerful wizard were easily able to tip the scales in any political skirmish between lords. Their discoveries were also highly beneficial to society and its production capabilities.

After another hour of winding roads up to the great tower castle you make it to the main yard where looking up you truly get an aw inspiring glance at the towers size. “Welcome to your new home.”

Mina followed her new master and looked up at the tower, impressed but also a bit afraid. She looked at her master and then back to the tower. "It's big...", she said, not sure what to say about it. "And it seems lonely if you live all by your own in such a big place...", she thought, but didn't say it aloud.

She looked around and noticed that the forest was nearby. Happy about that, she looked back. "So...you want me to learn...manners, and magic... what else?", she wanted to know curiously.

“That depends. Do you know how to read and write and basic arithmetic.” He asks not trying to be condescending but to know where he should start with her education. He didn’t want to overwhelm her right away.

"I am sorry, but I don't know how to read or write...or arithmetic...", Mina told him, slightly ashamed. She knew it was something everybody SHOULD know, but the street wasn't a good teacher in manners and other things.

“Hmmm.. no worries. It’s to be expected.” He said. “We’ll start with the very basics then and work our way up from there. It shouldn’t be too difficult if you apply yourself.”

He then looks at Saturn. “Could you please go inform the servants to draw a bath for new guest.” To which the Raven replies. “Three crackers.” Avin nods and Saturn fly’s off.

"Oh, you've got servants? I thought you would live here all by your own", Mina admitted and smiled. Once the raven was gone, she relaxed a bit more. She wasn't sure what to think about that speaking bird after all... "Is he always like that?", she wanted to know curiously.

“Unfortunately he’s been that way ever since I gave him the ability to speak.” He says with a sigh. “All’s I wanted was a decent messenger and instead I get a snarky side kick.”

“So anyway let me show you inside.” He then leads her into the main entrance area which is a large open circular room with two staircases on either side. The large chandelier hangs over illuminating the entire room.

"Well... I promise I won't turn out that way", she said slightly amused and followed him inside. Mina gasped and looked around. "Wow... This is...the chandelier! Oh wow..", she whispered impressed.

“It’s all the power of wealth and magic. Perhaps one day you can have your own with aids castle if you actually work for it.” He says leading you upstairs. The both of you walk for quite a while as there are many stairs until he stops you by a door in a hallway. When he opens it he reveals a servant pouring hot water into a bath. The servant not before exiting the room. “Ok. Now I want you to be bathed and cleaned before we begin any type of tour. I don’t want you tracking dirt in my home.”
