Margot grinned when Beth hugged Garth, and felt quite proud of herself.


"I have two brothers and two sisters who can ride better than me, but I'm good." Her old master of horse did say she was a good rider, although she couldn't write or do sums as well as her old septa and maester would have liked. She smiled. "What about you? Are you a good rider, or will I leave you in my dust when I race you?"

After a while the two siblings sepperated. It seemed that Margot had made peace between them. At least for now. "Oh, I do fine. You won´t beat me that easily.", Garth said humbly," Beth also does alright. She´ll be good once she reaches your age." The little girl nodded in agreement. "So...Garth, your books are in the barn underneath the little haystack.", she finally told her brother. "So there you had it! I´ll be off then. Don´t have too much fun without me.", said the boy before leaving, already dreaming about his copy of "the Conquest of Dorne".

Margot continued to answer Bethany's questions about her old life in Bluemoat after they blew out their candle until both girls fell asleep.


The next morning, they went to the small hall together to break their fast. Margot was dressed in a dark blue gown that brought out the colour of her eyes. She wondered how her day would go. Back at home, she would often slip outside as quickly as possible when she finished her meal to avoid a boring lesson, but maybe no one would chase after her in Gallowhill. After all, she was almost a woman grown.
