Clair simply took hold of Kaede's arm and pinned it behind her back.

"I heard you," she said simply.

She continued smacking the teenager's bottom until it had been struck 16 times, once for each year she was old. She looked up at Rumi to make sure she was still OK, then she picked up the hairbrush.
