Does it matter exactly how far back in history we go?

Human history, so no dinosaurs. Right back to stoneage should be okay, but it would be a good idea to make sure that theres a story behind it, otherwise its just a spanking in furskins. Best to hit areas of history where you can put a story into the picture~ Does that help?

OK, let me have a rethink.....

I have an idea, but does the pic have to be a single one, or can we put 'panels' (keeping it to one page, of course) ? I'd need to put some context to the spanking for it to make sense, and the characters just spitting it out seems silly :p

Any number of panels you like are fine~ best to keep it short and sweet though, one page for preference.

Another contest I wish I could draw for. :) I like the judging system. After all the point of entering a contest is not to win, but to have fun. To give everyone something to see and enjoy, and having interesting themes gives that the perfect chance!

We're now half-way into the contest~ Hope to see a few more entries ^^

Having talked to a few Artists, I've been told that works are coming but not ready yet.

So I'll be extending the contest to help them meet their current deadlines

I was worried I wouldn't make it^^

IMO anyone who would cheat to win by creating second accounts or having friends vote for them to give them the edge needs to get a life. However I know it goes on. Prehaps as a compermise we coud do 60% judges and 40% public...however limit the public voting to people who have the gold user names, or who have X amount of posts(like 1K) or people who often comment on the artwork....or some system like that. That way people are limited in how they can skew the results AND even if a voting block comes through, if the judges agree they like one the best because they have the 60% that one will likely win.

Just my 2 cents on the subject.
