Viktor continued the spanking in silence, carefully watching Rafe’s reactions. If he couldn’t get through to him with words, then the elder vampire had little issue with using actions instead. He had known when he decided to turn the other vampire that it wasn’t going to be easy, but he hadn’t been able to just let him die. And he wasn’t willing to let Rafe’s pride get him killed either.

Rafe continued to act as though the spanking wasn't affecting him but it was growing increasingly more difficult to actually do that as the burn continued to grow. Despite his best efforts the fledgling actually did feel the beginnings of tears starting to sting his eyes, Rafe attempting to wipe at his eyes without drawing attention to what he was doing.

Viktor noticed when Rafe wiped his eyes and decided to try talking to the stubborn fledgling again, “This can end whenever you’re ready, Rafe. All I ask, at the moment, is that you show a basic level of manners and respect, as well as common sense if that is not too much to ask out of you.”

"Are the insults really necessary?" Rafe asked, his voice a bit strained, when Viktor made his expectations clear once again. Being told that this could end whenever he wanted it to almost caused Rafe to say something that was guaranteed to make his situation worse but somehow the fledgling managed to keep that to himself.

“I’m not insulting you; merely pointing out that you have showed a lack of common sense over the course of our discussion. I imagine that your annoyance over this situation is clouding your judgement as I know that you are far from stupid.” Viktor explained, moving his swats lower to focus on Rafe’s sit spots and upper thighs.

It was on the tip of Rafe's tongue to tell the man that he was an ass but once again he managed to bite his tongue, almost literally this time, and keep that thought to himself. "I could say something...but you'd make me regret it," Rafe said through clenched teeth, a few of those tears that he had been trying so hard to fight against trailing down his face before he could stop them.

Viktor snorted, “Most likely, although I am glad that you are proving you can still use common sense. But come, childe, I ask for very little; must we really continue this?”

"I'm not the one continuing anything...that's all you..." Rafe said, his teeth still clenched together as he tried his best not to completely give in to the spanking. He didn't want to admit to the fact that this childish punishment was affecting him but it was becoming damn near impossible to hide that fact.

“And you are the one who decides when it ends.” Viktor pointed out calmly, speeding his swats up slightly in an effort to push Rafe into openly reacting. The elder vampire knew that the spanking was affecting the fledgling, but it was also clear that he was still fighting against giving in.

"If I'm the one that makes that call then stop already," Rafe said, his voice far less calm than Viktor's was at this point. He was really trying with all of his might to hold back against the pain of the spanking, and the reactions that pain wanted to elicit, but it was a losing battle. Even the most stubborn person would have to give in eventually and Rafe was no exception. It took far longer than it should have for Rafe to give in but eventually he did start to cry, the mahogany haired fledgling ducking his head in an attempt to hide it.
