"Yay!" Everest said.

She leapt into his arms, and started licking his face, as he smiled.

"Aww" he chuckled, hugging her, "Ok! Ok! I'm happy too."

Everest jumped back to the floor.

"Ok" said Jake, wiping his face off, "Shall we get going?"

"Yeah." Everest said.

They went to City Hall, where Jake had to talk with Mayor Goodway, about an upcoming event on the mountain.

"Alright Everest" said Jake, "You can look through the museum, and walk around outside. But stay by City Hall...alright?"

"Alright." Everest said.

Everest nodded, and went down to the museum. She went around, admiring all the things on display, and eventually came across Julius and Julia.

"Hi" said Julia, "I'm Julia, and this is my brother, Julius."

"Nice to meet you" she said, "I'm Everest...I'm living with Jake now."

"Cool" said Julia.

"Wanna come play outside with us Everest?" asked Julius.

"Sure." Everest said.

They went outside, and were soon running around, having fun.


Upstairs, Jake was talking with Mayor Goodway about the event, when he glanced outside, and saw Everest and the twins. He smiled, as he watched them.

"Jake?" asked the mayor, going over, "Is something wrong?"

"It's nothing Mayor Goodway" he said, as they looked out the window, at the playing pup and kids, "I'm just glad, Everest is making so many new friends."
