"Oh? Well, that's good," said Clair, "You know, it's funny. I only ever seem to notice my watch ticking if it's completely quiet. But when I am aware, well, it makes itself known."

"Sounds like it can be a little irritating." Lori said with a soft nod.

"Well, it's not irritating, per-say," said Clair, looking at her watch again. She held it against her ear for a moment, "It's actually quite pleasent, at least that's what some people have told me. But it does get rather noticable at times. Such as when I'm tucking people in."

"I get what you mean." Lori said, pouring some rum that she had well-hidden in a cupboard into a small cup. "Want some?" She offered.

"Oh, thank you," said Clair, sitting down and taking the cup.

Lori nodded and poured herself a cup before sitting and taking a drink. She sighed. "Might have to finish the bottle before Akane gets here.." Sne said,

"A drinker as well?" sighed Clair, "I'd hoped it wouldn't come to this, but I sense I might be giving her a "full go-over" if she's anything as bad as you said."

"She'd do it just to mess with me." Lori said with a soft sigh. "Granted, I don't even know if she drinks now. I know she once threw a bottle of beer out the window just because she could.."

"I assume that I have permission to deal with her however I may see fit if it comes to that?" asked Clair.

"Do what you see fit." Lori said with a nod, sipping her rum. "I have no objections."
