Skelebros Plus One [Taiga_Chan and Frisk]
 

It was a beautiful day outside. Birds were singing and flowers were blooming. Perfect for Sans to stay inside and sleep all day. Papyrus had gone out, asking Sans to do something while he was gone, probably pick up a sock or something. Of course that wasn't going to happen.

No, now was his time to rest. Everyone had finally made it to the surface, with the help of Frisk. They managed to singlehandly save an entire race. And that should be celebrated! The best way Sans knew how. Absolutely nothing.

And then the door flew open. "SANS! WAKE UP! THIS IS AN EMERGENCY!" the famiar voice exclaimed. The skeleton who had made it rushing through the door, his hands wrapped around something Sans couldn't quite make out.

Well, so much for that. "*bro, i'm up, i'm up. what's the matter?" Sans asked, hopping off of his bed, walking over to his brother. Without another word, Papyrus opened his hands, revealing a small heart-looking object. The pinpricks of light in Sans' eyesockets faded immediately. "*a... a soul?"

Papyrus quickly nodded, as both the skeletons observed the SOUL. "A HUMAN ONE. UNDYNE AND I FOUND IT WHILE WE WERE TRAINING." Papyrus pointed out. "I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT I WAS SUPPOSED TO DO, SO I..." His normally loud voice-turned whisper trailed off, as he glanced at Sans who seemed just as clueless. They looked at each other in worry. What do they do now?

As the two brothers were talking to each other about the soul, the blue heart started to glow softly, then the light turned brighter and brighter, til it was almost blinding! And just as it started the lights vanished, now it wasn't a heart in his hands...it was a sleeping boy in Papyrus' arms! He had dark blue hair, a blue shirt and boots on, with what looked like black pants.

The new form squirmed slightly before opening one eye then closed it, then both eyes shot open revealing soft blue eyes,"H-Huh?! Who are you?!",he said pushing himself out the skeleton's arms and backed up looking around. "What is this place?! Stay back!", he said.

Papyrus and Sans simultaneously turned away from the harsh light the heart began emitting. Frisk was the only human either had ever seen the SOUL of, so neither brother knew if this was supposed to be happening or not.

The light eventually faded, and they turned back, seeing the blue heart had been replaced with a child in almost all blue. Blue soul, blue clothes. Fitting.

Papyrus didn't even have time to react before the human woke up and jumped out of his arms, shouting at the two. "YOU'RE IN OUR HOME, HUMAN. WE'RE NOT GOING TO HURT YOU." Papyrus assured, as Sans simply stared, seemingly in thought.

"Yeah right! You stay back! Human..I have a name..Wait you wouldn't know that..That's doesn't matter!", he said looking around the room before seeing the door. " I'm out of here!",he said running to the door and scrambling to open it. "Last time I saw some one I got knocked out..", the boy mumbled to himself and ran out the doorway.

Unfortunately, as he ran he slipped in a puddle and fell on his back with a," Oof! Ugh...",he muttered before sitting up and looking at his wet sweater,"Great..!. He wobbled to his feet shaking slightly from the cold.

Papyrus looked on in concern as the human backed up and tried running away. He shot a glance at Sans, who shrugged, and looked back towards the still unnamed child. "WELL, YOU'RE SAFE HERE." he tried again, but to no avail.

Sans groaned as he watched the human slip right outside their house. His eye flashed blue, as he raised a hand, taking hold of him, gently lifting him and leading him back in the house. "*listen kiddo, if we were trying to hurt you, you'd know it." He said flatly, earning a glare from Papyrus.

The boy looked up at Sans as he was lead back into the house before finally calming down seeing at least one of them didn't seem to talk loudly, "S-sorry... I just don't know who to trust.. The last time I got knocked up by a dumb flower and then some guy kept attacking me.", he said looking up at the brothers. " Oh! And the name is Sorak..".

He took another look around the room before putting his hands in his pockets,"Well..um..",Sorak looked up at the two again trying to take them seriously, but the cape Papyrus had on was making it hard for him not to laugh. "Why are you..", he cut off snickering slightly before he just started laughing," Oh man! That cape!",he said through his laughter.

Some flower...? The skeletons glanced at each other. "FLOWEY?" Papyrus asked. Sans nodded, but gestured towards Sorak, telling him they have other things to worry about at the moment. The taller skeleton shook his head, and listened to the rest of his speech.

Papyrus raised a brow (bone?) when Sorak started laughing. "MY... CAPE? WHAT'S WRONG? DO YOU WANT ONE TOO?" He asked with what you could argue looked like a sparkle in his eyes.

Sans gave a low chuckle. "*heh. i think it looks good on him." Suddenly, he got a devious look in his eyes. "*speaking of which, i loke the blue, kid."

Papyrus narrowed his eyes. "IS THIS A SET-UP FOR ONE OF YOUR PUNS?"

Sans turned to him in feigned innocence. "*what? i'm just trying to say it's a nice hue, man." He said, his signature grin growing in size.

"GREAT. YOU RUINED OUR INTRODUCTION. NOW WHENEVER HE THINKS OF SANS AND PAPYRUS HE'LL BE REMINDED OF THIS TERRIBLE PUN." Papyrus groaned, which just made Sans more satisfied.

(Sorry, I just thought of that pun and really wanted to use it )

After laughing it off the boy watched the two talk, his head going back and forth,"Well it was nice meetin' yah! Maybe I should jet, check around this area. And such... See yah!",he said before going out the door and jumping over the puddle this time,"I think I'm going crazy...talking skeletons? No way...this is a weird dream..",he muttered softly.

"Especially that one in the cape..Tch...I gotta get outta this area..", he said before running through the area looking around keeping his distance from all the flowers. He looked up at a tall tree he came across climbing up and sat on a top branch before hanging upside down from it looking at the land around him.

" Maybe I should have hung around that house and gotten supplies... Where am I anyway...Lost? Heh! No way, I never get lost..",he said before climbing back down and exploring further. "Not lost...Oh its getting dark...heh..heh...", Sorak said to himself as the wind blew through his hair.

Though it was just his imagination getting to him as he hadn't even gone that far away from their house. It was just ten minutes away to where he slumped against a tree holding his knees close to his chest.

"*somebody should probably make sure that kid stays out of trouble." Sans pointed out right as Sorak left. Papyrus nudged him with his elbow, and he groaned. "*didn't mean me... fine, i'll see where he's going." the short skeleton begrudgingly agreed, following Papyrus out of the room, towards the front door.

"I'LL HAVE SPAGHETTI READY BY THE TIME YOU GET BACK!" Papyrus called out as he rushed into the kitchen.

"*sounds great, paps." Sans grinned, walking out the door, and beginning his search for the human. It didn't take long, what with his extensive knoweldge of shortcuts and all. He quickly found Sorak sitting in a tree, talking to himself.

"*i dunno, kiddo. the sun's still out and everything." Sans pointed out, leaning against the tree the human was sitting in, his bony hands tucked into his hoodie pockets.

He was in his own world when he heard the voice and jumped up in surprise,"Ah! Oh! It's just you.. The sun...oh..its there..",he said looking up. "Heh! I knew that I was just playing a game..", Sorak said rubbing the back of his head blushing- softly.

"*must be some game." The monster nodded, glancing up at the tree. "*so, where are ya' heading out to?" He asked, with a small yawn.

"I don't know yet.. I don't even know where I am.. The last place I saw was a throne room, and then I'm here..", the boy said sighing softly putting a hand on his chin in thought.

Sans blinked."*a... throne room you say?" His tone of voice got incredibly serious for a moment, as he too paused in thought. Looking back at Sorak, he shook his head, pushing his various thoughts out of his non-existant brain. "*hehehe, sorry 'bout that. i guess you've just throne me off for a bit there."

Sorak looked at him speak before covering his face with his hands,"Was I supposed to laugh there?",he asked sarcastically.

"*well i mean, yeah. that's what you do when you hear something funny." Sans pointed out, tilting his head back to wink at Sorak. "*anyways, since you're not goin' anywhere, why not stay for dinner? my bro's making pasta." He offered, waiting for an answer.

He stared at him for a bit before grinning softly,",Sure!",,Sorak said jumping from branch to branch down the tree before one brach cracked making him land onto another branch with a gasp,"Ow!..Note to self, don't jump down trees..",he said before flipping off the last branch and landed.

"*whoa, careful kid!" Sans half-scolded half-panicked as he heard the branch snap on Sorak's way down. He let out a sigh of relief when he made it safely to the ground after that. "*scared me for a second there... didn't anybody teach ya' not to do stuff like that?"

"Hmm.. No.. I never had anyone teachin' me stuff. Plus its fine. I just have to jump differently..", he said studying the tree before going to climb back up," I can try again.",Sorak said as he went.

"*whoa kiddo, i think that's enough climbing for now. wouldn't wanna fall again, would ya'?" Sans gently grabbed Sorak to prevent him from going any furthur.

Sorak looked down at him,"But that's the fun in it, maybe this time I can freefall to the ground. ",he said happily tugging to continue.

Sans frowned a bit, not letting go. "*kid, i know humans are tough an' all, but don't you think you should take it easy a bit?" Sans usually wouldn't mind, but Sorak just... reformed? He had done too little research on human SOULs to know whether it was safe or not.

Sorak huffed softly tugging a bit more,"Come on, I can show you how to do it too.",he said trying to reach out for the next branch.

Sans lost his grip and groaned as the kid scrambled away from him. "*just be careful..." he warned, watching him to make sure he didn't get himself hurt.

Sorak grinned as he went to the top before looking down and jumping from a branch, thankfully before he could hit the ground his arm scratched against a tree and his sweater snagged into the branch making him hover there,"H-help!".

Luckily, Sans was paying close attention, and used his telekinesis to unsnag his sweater from the tree, and gently lowering him to the ground. As the blue glow faded from his eye, Sorak could see a scowl on his face. Without thinking about it, he gave a firm smack to the seat of the child's pants, remembering a few times when he saw Toriel doing it to Frisk. "*i told ya' to be careful." He chided.

Meanwhile, on the other side of town, Frisk layed on their stomach, head propped up in one hand, their other guiding a crayon across a previously blank piece of paper. They hummed to themself a happy tune, drawing a picture of them with all of their friends... which was gonna need more than just the one sheet.

Sorak was waving his arms and trying to hold on when he opened his eyes and saw the look on Sans face before pausing as he noticed something,"How'd I get...",he didn't finish that sentence as the swat was laid on his bottom,"Ow! W-what'd you do that for?!",he whined covering the swatted area quickly.

Toriel was inside the house fixing some lunch for the boy, checking on him every few minutes.

"*i've been told it's something humans do when children don't listen" Sans explained plainly, hands on his hip-bones. "*i told ya' you should be careful."

Anytime Toriel would check, Frisk was still in the exact same spot, coloring away joyfully.

"Well I was careful is it my fault that branch got in the way!", the boy said back, leaning forward slightly as to get his point across.

Soon Toriel came over with a plate that had a slice of butterscotch pie and a sandwich with it,"Here you go Frisk.",she said smiling softly.

It looked as if Sans rolled his eyes. "*look, kid, let's just forget about it. you're alright, and my bro's probably wondering where we are. shall we go?" He asked, waiting for Sorak to follow him.

Frisk smiled as Toriel brought out the food, and sat up, dropping the yellow crayon they were currently using to color in Alphys. "Thanks, mom!" They said with a smile, taking a bite of tge sandwich.

Sorak looked away before nodding slowly and trailing behind him still rubbing slightly thought he wasn't paying attention to notice he was, grumbling softly to himself about hard hands and it stinging.

Toriel smiled softly,"Your very welcome sweetie. And I have some lemonade too for when your done.",she said ruffling his hair.

Sans softly chuckled to himself, barely making out what Sorak was mumbling, but decided not to say anything. For now. Maybe he'll think of a pun later. Since they weren't that far away from the house in the first place, it didn't take long for them to arrive.

"THERE YOU TWO ARE! THE SPAGHETTI IS DONE!" Papyrus called from the kitchen, hearing the front door open.

Frisk continued to eat the lunch Toriel had made, nodding at the mention of lemonade, with another grin.

Sorak looked around noting the path back to the house figuring he'd need it later if he decided to go any more exploring, after he got butt armour.

Toriel sat in her rocking chair reading a book as Frisk ate his lunch, humming softly as she read.

Sans led Sorak towards the kitchen table, taking a seat next to hum as Papyrus put the food on all three of their plates, before sitting down himself. "*dig in, kiddo." Sans grinned, grabbing a bottle of ketchup out of his hoodie pocket to put on his pasta.

Frisk soon finished eating and pushed his plate to the side, going back to the drawing he was previously working on.

Sorak smiled as they all sat and he ate happily before all the tastes combined holding back any mean comments and forced himself to swallow before continuing to eat.

Toriel took up the plate and washed it before bringing him the cup of lemonade with a straw before sitting back in her chair watching him draw.

Papyrus' eyes lit up at Sorak's reaction. "WHAT A PASSIONATE EXPRESSION. YOU MUST REALLY LOVE MY COOKING!" He observed, causing Sans to let out a small chuckle.

Frisk thanked her once again, and turned the picture towards ger. "Do you wanna see it? That's me, and you and Sans and Papyrus, and Undyne and Alphys and..." he continued pointing out everyone he drew (which was quite a bit of people!) to the woman with a smile.

Sorak smiled softly,"Yeah, its great..",he said eating the spaghetti with 'enthusiasm', "Gosh I wonder who taught him this recipe..Note to self make a snack after this.", he thought to himself.

" Oh it looks so good Frisk. Maybe we can put it in a nice frame and hang it on the wall,"Toriel said looking down at the boy.

Sans winked at Sorak, noticing what the look on his face actually meant. Which was understandable. That was how everyone reacted at first.

Frisk's grin grew even larger at the thought, and furiously nodded.

Sorak had a moment of relief as Sans winked towards him knowing he understood meant he wouldn't need to fake it around him at all. Soon he finished it trying not to look too relieved it was all gone.

Toriel went to get a nice big frame and came back, as she put the picture in she looked for a place to hang the nail,"Sweetie, what do you want for dinner?",she asked just in case she needed to run to the market.

When they all were finished, Papyrus started clearing the table, while Sans got up, glancing at the clock. "*my shift's starting soon..." he thought out loud with a groan. On the weekend, he worked part-time at Grillby's (mainly to pay off his tab, but also just to help out Grillbz), and he had dinner shift tonight. Of course, with Sorak appearing, he almost forgot about that.

"*yo, papyrus, can you keep an eye on sorak while i'm at work?" Sans asked, immediately getting an affirmative answer from his brother. "*alright then, i'm off. stay outta trouble, ya'hear?" Sans said, before walking out the door.

Frisk placed a hand on his chin for a moment in thought. "Hmm... maybe something from Grillby's?" he suggested, knowing most of what was in the house would end up being put in some sort of snail-based dish.

Sorak watched Sans go before smirking softly as he thought of some things he could do while he was gone.

"Okay I'll go get something, you stay inside its getting dark and I don't want you getting lost.",she said getting her bag before giving him a hug and going out the door.
