Double Trouble in the Underground
 

The people of the Underground that reside beneath Mount Ebott had known an era of prosperity and unity despite the rather depressing surrondings that they were surronded by.

The careful and responsible rule of the Asgore royal family had enabled for monster kind to adapt to the rather damp and dark surrondings and even to adopt a human into their own family who was known by the name of "Chara".

Our story begins inside of the garden of "New Home" and a certain goat boy was playing inside of the bed of flowers that somehow grew down in the dark.

(Also can you be Chara? i know i offered to be them, but mostly just for spankings, also it'd probably be better if you played as Chara, and sorry if i'm repeating this if i said something like this before!) Asriel, prince of the Underground, son of Toriel and Asgore Dreemurr, and brother to his adopted sibling Chara, both a source of hope for monsterkind, and beloved children of the King and Queen.

Asriel is using his imagination to play, pretending to battle humans, and also doing some drawings and simple doodles to pass the time, for despite how depressing the Underground can be, this day is calm, workless, yet also stagnant and boring, and Asriel did what he could to pass the time.

Chara Dreemur had fled from his home with no real plan in mind, climbing up the mountain and reaching the top he had found a cave which allowed him to be sheltered from the wind and accidentally fell down into a chasm and the rest was history.

Spying his brother running around the cave with flowers, Chara had a devilish plan in mind which was to get his brother to smash a window and have him be punished.

He set his plan in motion and so approaching Asriel he waved "Heya Azzy! Whatcha doing?" Chara asked with as much mock innoncence that he could muster.

Asriel of course brought him to New Home with open arms, saw him as a brother and has been his best friend ever since. unaware of Chara's knack to get into various awful situations, mostly awful for others.

Asriel was drawing as Chara came by, and looked up at him when he spoke, and smiled back "Howdy Chara!, I'm just drawing and stuff, today is kinda boring, isn't it?" and what he said would only aid in Chara's persuasion, one bored goat boy to do some 'game' unknowing of consenquence, exactly what Chara wants.

The young human boy cocked his head with a curious look as he was trying to see what his brother was drawing before grunting out an agreement.

"I kinda have to agree, nothing is really going on around town and..... well I was thinking of doing something to break up the time if you want in that is?" Chara asked with a devious look on their face.

It's a childish drawing of Asriel in armor like Asgore 'heroically', protecting all Monsters as King, a cute little drawing.

He got up and had a look of excitement on his face, surely wanting to do something with his brother "Of course i would!" oh the poor niave goat child.

Pointing at the drawing, Chara hummed an afirmative as he was actually quite taken aback by how good his adopted brother's drawing was for someone their age.

"Well..... my idea was to go and sneak out at night and travel as far as we can within the Underground.... it can be kinda like a grand adventure!" Chara beamed with his red eyes and his warm smile.

He was getting better at drawing pretty quickly, oddly enough, though he does draw alot in his spare time, and although it was good for his age, it still had a childish feel to it.

Ah, but then, Chara said 'sneak out at night' and so Asriel's good nature came out "Sneak out? . . . but, won't we get in trouble if Mom and Dad find out?- i-i wanna do it but . . ." he was fiddling with his thumbs as of now, unsure of whether to go with his plan or not.

Chara could not help but roll his eyes as he saw that his brother was having second thoughts about this.

"It's not like we are running away, we can come back later on, what are you afraid of having Dad smacking your bum or something?" he teased

He was too busy in thought to recognize Chara's annoyed eye-roll, not wanting to dissapoint his parents, but also wanting to hang out Chara, conflicting indeed.

He looked nervous when he said that "N-No im not! . . . well maybe- . . . . . okay, i'll come with you" and he caved in to the plan.

"Sweet, it will be like we are explorers or something cool like that" Chara chirped with a smile as they sat themselves down on the ground and watched the world go by.

"Man your such a baby sometimes Asriel, Dad's spanked me a bunch of times by now" Chara ruefully smiled

"Yeah! you're right Chara!" Asriel was already reeled into Chara's idea, and then sitting besides them.

Though as he called him a baby he looked down "I'm not a baby . . ." and when he said he was spanked multiple times Asriel looked up "Really? golly, that sucks . . . Dad hasn't spanked me too much now that I think of it . . ." he said, thinking back to when he did something naughty.

"Haha I knew you'd see it my way" Chara smiled as he continued to observe what Asriel was up to, the human child could not help but pick at the flowers that had someone began to grow all throughout the cavern that they inhabited.

"I mean it really does suck, but I always feel better afterwards" Chara admitted as he looked down at ground...... "Hey Azzy, do ya think that I'll see the outside world again?" Chara asked with some far away look in their eyes as they nuzzled closer to the warmth of their sibling.

He iust wanted to be beside his brother, nothing much, and watched Chara pick at the flowers, nothing much.

Listening to what Chara was saying about spanking, he then responded simply "Yeah . . ." and then, Chara asked that question, sorta surprised Asriel at first, but then as he was nuzzled he smiled at Chara and cuddled with him back "I bet! i know Dad or Mom will figure out something! and when they do, i hope i get to be with you when it happens" he said, smiling widely, being the kind-hearted sensitive Boss Monster he is. (Should we move onto them going out at night?)

The day soon faded into dusk, with the cavern becoming notably more darker as a result of the absence of the light, the nearby town of Snowden had put up its street lamps in order to make travelling safer.

Chara nudged Asriel as they silently crept into their room and prodded them. "Hey it's time to go on an adventure" he whispered conspiratorially

Asriel was waiting in his room, pretending to sleep, so they could go on the adventire!, waiting for Chara's plan to work, for how couldn't it? either way he waited in his room, well, until Chara came in.

Smiling he said "I'm ready for adventure!" he whisper-exclaimed,not wanting to wake his royal Father and Mother up.

"Lets get going then Azzy!" Chara enthusiastically replied keeping his voice to as low as humanly possible, looking back towards the hallway, he could not help but look both ways.

"The coast is clear come on follow me!" Chara gestured to the goat boy

He got up and walked a bit forward, he was still a bit nervous about this though, and was patient for Chara to say if he could come out or not, since he could tell by his brothers actions, that was what he was doing.

He saw the gesture and heard that the 'coast is clear' and so he went over to Chara to fallow them out of the room, and through the house.

"We just gotta be absolutely quiet....." Chara whispered as they crept along the hallway, past Asgore and Toriel's bedroom before opening the backdoor to the house and slipping out.

The cool night air of the cavern causing Chara to shudder due to his lack of fur.

Asriel nodded as he fallowed Chara, looking around to see if Dad or Mom would be around the corner, though to their luck, Toriel and Asgore were not around, sighing as they were met by the back door, and he went out with Chara.

As Chara shivered by cold, Asriel hugged him, to keel him warm "Just hold onto me if your cold, Chara" he informed, wanting to help Chara in any way.

"I-I wasn't expecting it...... t-to be so cold" Chara chattered through his teeth as he began to hug onto the fluffy goat boys fur.

"T-thank you, I s-shoulda put my jacket on t-to come out here" Chara chattered through his teeth.

"Well you got me to warm you up then!" he said happily, hugging onto Chara as they clinged onto his warm fur.

He nodded in response to that and continued the response "Your welcome Chara" he said simply to his brother.

The two boys began to walk down from the house, taking extra care not to make too much noise, they walked for a good while coming to the cave area that had some sparkling rocks which to them looked like the stars.

"Hey Asriel.... isn't this a good adventure right?" he asked with an uneasy voice.

Asriel was the one to keep the most quiet, and staying ever so close to Chara, he didn't want her to be cold or sick. When they got to the stars, Asriel smiled "The Stars . . ." he looked up smiling- yet when Chara spoke, Asriel could hese the unease "A-are you ok Chara? we . . . we could go back if you wanna . . ." he suggested to his brother, with worry in his eyes.

"I dunno I mean, mum and dad already probably know that we are out of bed and somewhere out and about" Chara shuddered as they sat on the cold ground.

"We are soo gonna get spanked tonight, ya do know that right Azzy?" Chara turned to look into the goat boys looking face " But...... thank you for coming with me I really appreciate it" the fallen human replied as he hugged his sibling tightly.

"I hope not, i don't wanna get spanked . . ." he said, just the idea making tears form around his eyes, yet he wiped them away, he was just hoping they weren't going to get caught.

And when Chara said that it just made Asriel more nervous "I-I dunno, maybe, i . . . . guess so" he looked down, about to have some tears go down his face, not wanting to face his parents- though when Chara thanked him for coming and hugging him, it made Asriel feel better "Your welcome Chara" he said with a small smile.

"Whatever happens though Asriel, stay Determined!" Chara giggled as he still hugged his goat sibling and wiped away any stray tears that peaked through.

"Do you want to head back home now Azzy, I'm starting to feel sleepy.....?" Chara yawned cutely as he wiped a arm over his eyes.

Asriel smiled after hearing the line 'stay Determined' and also due to the hug and his brother wiping away his tears, which in turn did make him start crying out of happiness, yet he wiped away the tears and kept smiling, he didn't want to be a crybaby the whole way "Thanks Chara . . .".

The goat boy yawned out too, nodding "Y-Yeah, i'm getting kinda tired too" he admitted.

"Let's get going then, I think I can hear my bed calling me" Chara fondly smiled as he saw his brother crying out of happiness, and so after tears had been wiped away the two boys set out on the trek back to their home.

As they climbed the path back to the castle they noticed that the lights were on. "I guess they know we snuck out" Chara whispered

"He heh! me too" he added, walking alongside Chara as they made their way back home, after such an endeavor.

Asriel saw lights on, and right as Chara pointed it out, he whimpered out of fear "O-oh no . . . this . . . was a-a bad idea . . . ." he said to himself, Asriel was shaking a slight bit too.

"M-maybe we won't get spanked and just a grounding?" Chara reassured his adoptive brother as the reached the doorway only to be greeted by a very stern looking Asgore.

"Children" Asgore responded with folded arms.

Asriel gulped "I-I hope . . ." he would fallow Chara inside, only to be greeted by his father looking stern and arms crossed, not going to be fun.

Asriel would have said something, but tension of the situation made him unable to say a single word, and so he just stood there, atleast, for now he is.

"I think you two had better come inside" Asgore coldly responded as he opened the door to see Toriel at the top of the stair way, she shook her head disapprovingly before disappearing back into hers and Asgore's Bedroom.

"What on earth do you two think your doing sneaking out like that?" Asgore scolded the two of them.

Asriel looked down, too flustered and kind of embarassed with himself to look up at his parents, and as his dad told them to come in, he did as told. He didn't notice Toriel at the stairway, mostly due to him looking down at the ground.

He knew that if Chara took the blame, they would get the worse part of the punishment, and normally he gets let of easy . . . . and so, he decided to take the blame for Chara. "I-It was my idea!" he abruptly said, giving Chara a look of reassurance, to tell them he knew what he was doing "I wanted to w-walk around the Underground w-with Chara, show them e-everything . . . I'm sorry" Asriel knew he'd hate the incoming punishment, but he wanted Chara to get it easier for once, also his story was atleast believable, Chars hasn't seen the whole Underground, and the reason why is a kind reason, fitting Asriel, some holes are in his lie, but oh well.

Asgore was about to raise his voice, when he let out a sigh that even to the two children clearly told the whole story about how they had felt when they found that their loved ones were not okay.

"You could have been injured my son and then what would me and your mother do then if we couldn't find you?" Asgore responded gently knowing the sensitive nature of his blood son.

Asriel was readying himself for his father to raise his voice, but he didn't so he un-tensed his muscles. He looked up from the floor and to his father, his eyes showing regret and worry about the whole situation.

As Asgore said his part, it was Asriel's turn to say his "I . . . . you're right, i-im sorry" he apologized again, tears going down his face, feeling awful for possibly bringing himself and brother to danger, and also upsetting his parents.

Asgore could not help but sigh before looking at his wife who was hovering at the top of the stairs before the door could be heard closing to their bedroom.

"Chara go to your brothers and yours room, Asriel come with me" Asgore commanded as he gave 2 spanks to the backs of his sons legs.

Asriel then took one glance over to his brother before he left ti his room, nervous but trying to reassure.

He yelped a bit as he got the two spanks on his upper legs, fallowing his father with little to no trouble.

Asgore from his body language, could be clearly depicted as being both glad and very much annoyed by this latest incident, being a king after all required that he had to devoted much of his time to running the society that was being built down here in the underground.

The king lead the young goat boy to his woodshed that was located out the back of the castle, where Asgore could clearly be found tending to flowers. "Asriel you naughty boy, I'm afraid your going to be getting a pants down spanking my boy" he solemnly responded

Asriel was much more occupied about being worried about he was going to be punished, if Chara was going to get it as bad as him, and his overall nervousness and shame to even look at his fathers body language. Though despite all his worrying Asriel knew this would be bad and he'd get it bad, he DID take all the blame, afterall.

As he was brought to the flower garden he was a bit confused- until he remembered, the woodshed, used for the bigger spankings! Chara was brought here once too! which made Asriel a bit scared, he hoped he was wrong. Yet, sadly, he was right, he was going to get a bare spanking in the woodshed! "But Dad!- please i'll be good i didn'f mean for all that to happen . . ." he was trying to get out of the spanking already, but he won't be let go too easily, of course.
