Gallery rules clarifications and reminders

There seems to be some confusion lately as to what is allowed in the gallery.

Our site does not accept child pornography. Our site will not accept:
1) Any ACTUAL images, whether run through a filter or not. This includes AI generated images that look like they came from a real image.
2) Any drawn images based upon actual children
3) Drawn images of imaginary children that are clearly sexual in nature, NOT just spanking. Just containing child sexual organs does not fit into this category as long as the image is not sexual in nature.

There are some crudely made AI generated images lately that look questionable as to if the spanker is actually spanking or doing something else. The interpretation of these images is of spanking so for now they are not breaking the rules, but we will keep a watch on the situation.

If something is not to your liking, please just move on. Nobody wants to hear that a certain image is not in the range of your particular tastes. It's not constructive.

I would also like to remind everyone about the rules regarding posting to certain galleries.
  • If the image was generated through AI, post it into “Red Bottoms - AI” or “Spankings - AI”. The latter if a spanking is clearly occurring at that moment.
  • If it is an image that you created, post it into “Communal Gallery”.
  • If it comes from Deviant Art or Pixiv, post into “Deviant Art Images” and “Pixiv Images” respectively. And ALWAYS include the link to the original image page in the description.
  • If it does not fit into the above categories and is from an artist that does not have a gallery with us, but you know who it is, when posting into “Known Artist X/Female” and “Known Artist X/Male”, make sure to include the name of the artist in the description. If you have a link to the original posting by the artist, please include that too.
  • Please do not abuse the “Anime Spankables” category. Posting 2 or 3 images there yourself is acceptable, but at some point it really just becomes posting random hentai.

This is coming from a stand point of someone who worked on a few porn sites as of now, Why not just get rid of the images that seems child like in nature to begin with? Or have mods filter and approve if they fit the rules?

Also if your talking about sexual nature in AI images too A bunch have been showing sexual nature. (AI is already bad for us artists so That I won't dwell on)

I will praise you for putting your foot down because it's getting out of hand here. As a former artist who was pretty active to now a new member again Thank you for trying to clean it up some.

Because images of imaginary children are allowed.

Honestly, If I am allowed to say, The spanking Kink is a huge shade of gray. Yes there are images on this site of characters who canonically are under 18, but, and this is something I VERY much approve up, none of the pictures (with few exceptions) are directly sexual in nature.

There are also people on this site who use a 'child' version of themself as the subject of their art, again, 99% of the time these pictures are non sexual in nature. which personally I think is good, the issue is not everyone thinks this way, and there are WAY too many people who see anything with children, even pictures of kids at the beach, as child pornography.

Honestly it's one huge shade of gray because there are sadly some people who actually want bad stuff, and the blow back from those people fall onto us who have zero interest in such things.

Personally, and I said this in the shout box, some parts of AI art seems kind of sketch to me. but at the same time there are pic's made with AI that actually look perfectly fine, I think the sang is "eye of the beholder' but that's just me.

Regardless the staff has my total support, and I fully intend to report anything I find too close to call and defer to their judgement.

I'm not even necessarily against AI images here if they're of a certain quality, but I'll be honest, I was expecting this. It seems a bit odd that pics made by 3D rendering software are forbidden, but AI is okay, just because of the possibility that it could spam the site with realistic-looking images that could make for trouble. Again, not saying that because of my personal feelings toward it, it just seems incongruous. Either way, I hope it doesn't become a moderation nightmare for you guys.

In regards to the notes on this, is there a way the site can enable/establish personal filters? For example being able to tag photos based on the ages of the parties involved and then let someone exclude from those tags? Or a way to block/hide photos on the individual level?

I have written a long answer, I can't find it right now, so I'll stick with the short answer:

Sure, we could add that.
- It will never, ever, ever, ever, ever, evereverevereverx1000,000x10^100000^10000 ever be used by uploaders.
Never. They won't do it.

If we put a box on that says 'make less people see my picture' and practically nobody will ever use it.
The very concept just requires too much investment and obediance from uploaders and spending literally any time on the internet should tell you that isn't a thing. People on the internet suck and can't be made to use features.

And if you want to be the one to police that and get into daily arguements with fuckwits that their pictures need to be put behind an opt-in wall while they whine about how the tens of thousands of other pictures on this site aren't then you can have the job with my compliments.

You've seen the trouble we've got with just one spoiled, entitled salty guy who doesn't like the word 'no'. You try telling it to dozens of people.
Gah, this has turned into another long answer.

Fair enough, thanks for the clarifications.

What happened to the AI gallery at the front page? If you guys need some coding help to have it back, just let me know.

Akuma January 23rd, 2024 12:15 AM

Truth be told, I took it down temporarily. I submitted by application to SubscribeStar a few days ago and there were some images in the section I was rather not wanting them to see while evaluating my application. I was going to put it back up as soon as SubscribeStar got back to me. I was expecting a quicker response from them...
