[Updates for 2025-01-12] Moderation queue issue has been fixed.


Happy New Years everyone! First, I sincerely apologize for the long downtime. I promise we’ll never have another ridiculously long one like it.

The good news is that so far I really like the new hosting provider, and from what I’ve researched and read about them, I highly doubt they’ll ever give us any problems.

I still have a lot of testing and configuring to do on this new server, so things could be a little slow until I do. We’ll see. I do not yet have our mailboxes up yet either but outgoing mail looks to be working.

I grabbed a database backup of the server about 6 hours before it was taken offline, so those 6 hours are gone.

If anyone runs into any errors, or ridiculous slowness, please post about it here.

I'm pretty sure email issues are all fixed. You should now be receiving emails for subscriptions, password changes, notifications, or anything else.

The login problem has been fixed.
Staff inboxes are working.
Gallery is working again for users with ipv6 addresses
Outgoing emails are now working. There had been an issue with thousands of queued emails slowing things down, but I've cleared them out. If you are awaiting emails (e.x. password reset emails) they should come through soon.

Great Job getting it back up. And don't give yourself a hard time about it. You don't suck. You're awesome! It's not your fault that the hosts can be dicks.

Glad it's sorted, I agree with the others, your not to blame for the old host being a bunch of smooth brains.

I'd leave a scathing review of them and remind them that just because they are based in Germany, because they offer services in the USA they also have to comply with US laws and business standards.
