Schoolbooks and Paddles (Skull & Sunshine11)
 

It was a rather exciting day at Firebrush academy, for today was the beginning of the new fall Semester. Student's old and new began pouring into the school, quickly filling the previously empty halls with chatter and tales of their adventures over the summer break. However there was one person who wasn't in any real hurry to enter the school. That person was Lyall Alastair. Lyall was a new teacher employed by Firebrush academy, fresh outta Burningcane University. Slowly and with a deep yawn he gathered up his things and began to head into the school himself.

Lyall was 24 years old and stood at about 6'3. He wore a slender black suit, with the buttons of the jacket part completely undone showing the white dress shirt underneath. He let out another deep yawn as the wind rustled his long, wild black hair. "Hmm it's gonna a pain getting used to waking up early every morning for this...Ah well better get to it. Hmm I believe my room number was 612." He though as he finally made his way into the school, and found his classroom. He went into the room and began to get his things settled away as he awaited his new students.

17 years old Alice was just as tired as her new teacher as she made her way to the classroom. She had gotten a total of two hours of sleep that night, far too little. She had just moved into town, so she had next to no idea where to go and her tiredness didnt make it any easier to find the way to her new classroom. The room number. Was something with 6 in it, she remembered that much.621?... No, that wasnt it... 612. Yes, that sounded more right. The blond petite girl started looking around for her new classroom, blue eyes searching every corner before she finally caught sight of it. Making her way over there she saw a handsome man standing there... He was too old to be a student, but yet he seemed very young to be a teacher. In her confusion she hadnt realised that she had been staring, but when she did her cheeks blushed pink and she hesitantly walked over to him, handing him the note she had gotten from the office and been told to give to her teacher. She wasnt sure what it said, but she ffigured it was some information about her on it.

Lyall yawned yet again as the students began to start coming in, giving them a polite smile or a small wave as he met them at the door. Although none of them really caught his attention or stood out much, except for one girl, a small blond one, who he noticed seemed to be alot more confused than the others. Lyall would go so far as saying she was pretty cute himself, you know if it wasn't entirely improper. He also noticed that she had stared at him for a good while, before presumably returning to her senses and walking up to him in order to hand him a note. "Hmm? Well lets see what all this is then..." he said as he quickly skimmed through the note's contents. "Ah I see, you're a new student huh? Not bad grades either...well welcome Alice, please go ahead and have a seat anywhere ya like." he said as he gestured to the few seats in the classroom not yet occupied. There was still one free one right at the front, along with two others around the middle and another one at the very back.

Alice was a cute girl, there was no denying it. She had a very innocent look, which matched her personality. She gave a hesitant smile to te teacher before nodding. "Thank you sir" she said softly. If anything, she was at least polite. After looking a round the room she went over and hesitantly sat down on the desk in the back. Being rather shy she didnt want to draw attention to herself by sitting in the front.

"The back huh? Hmm I kinda expected it." Lyall thought as he waited for the remaining three students to get in before he started the class. "All right i'm sure all of you are still pretty excited from the Summer, but settle down now and let's get started huh? Good morning, all of ya." He announced as he waited for the few students still chatting to quiet down in order for him to start. "My name is Lyall Alastair, and you may call me Mr. Alastair, but i'd really be just as fine with you simply calling me Lyall. Anyways i'll be your teacher for this year. Now as some of you may or may not know I am a new teacher here. Well let me just tell you my rules before we start. Just follow the school's rules, turn your work in on time, and do your best in here, and we won't have any problems at all. But don't think you can try and test me just because i'm new, because I can promise you right now you won't be sitting in your classes for a while if you do, am I understood?" He asked before recieving collective nods ans yes's from most of the class. "Alright then. Now while we're on the subject of new i'd like you all to meet a new student, Alice would you stand up please and introduce yourself to the class?"

So the man was new, that explained why he looked so young. The girl listened to him talk, running her fingers through her hair. When he started talking about not sitting and all of that she became rather confused. Her old school hadnt praticed spanking and the girl had never been spanked at home. The though of the teacher refering to it didnt even enter her mind, why would it? She didnt plan on getting in trouble anyway, so it didnt really matter.

She blushed heavily when she was mentioned, but stood up like he was told to. "Uhh.... Hi..." she mumbled akwardly, givibg a small wave with her hand, completely unaware of some of thw guys checking her out.

"Ah...yeah that's a nice, detailed introduction. You may return to your seat Alice.", Lyall said as he turned around to begin writing on the blackboard. "Hmm she must be shy, or nervous from being new. One or the other i'm sure. Hopefully she'll get more used to things soon though, she already has fans." He thought, his voice beginning to trail off as he began to lecture the class on the history of the old pyramids in egypt. It looked to be a rather long and boring lesson, the kind one would have to try very hard to stay awake for.

Alice blushed even more at the teacher's words. Well, what more was there to say? He had already told them her name, there was no reason to repeat it, was there? She sat down again when she was told to, curling up slightly and looking down. The lesson soon began and the girl tried to pay atention, taking notes, being silent and over all being a very good student. She managed to keep up with the lesson a lot longer then most, but it was sooo boring and well, there wasn't much to do as her thoughts started to drift of.

Her blue eyes turned to look out of the window while she unconsciosly started to braid her hair. She wondered when the lesson would end, it seemed to go on for hours. With a small sighed she forced herself to concentrate on what the teacher was saying again, but her thoughts soon wandred of again.

Lyall was about done with the lesson when he noticed a student at the back not paying attention, it was Alice. Of course as per teacher rules he had to call on her to answer the next question. "...lice. Alice? Hey Alice you awake over there?" he called, now standing next to girls desk.

Alice jumped, being snapped out of her thoughts by hearing her name. She blushed heavily and quickly nodded. "Yes sir" She said softly, biting her lip nervously as she looked up at the man. She was awake, she just hadn't been paying very much attention... She had tried though, she really had, it was just sooo very boring.
