To Fix What is Broken (for Robert)
 

For Robert.

"B-But I can't, I d-don't! It's t-t-too much!" a boy whined, "N-Nothing is even! It's all w-wrong! Don't m-make me go!" It was 8 in the morning, and time for a new day of school. Lukas, aged 17, was a senior in high school - a public high school.
"Oh come on you big baby..." a feminine voice muttered in his mind.
"Sh-Shut up, Bethany!" the boy cried, "D-Dad, don't make me go! I d-don't want to!"

"Stop it Lukas." the man before him sighed as he led him to the car. "Your sister will be with you, what do you have to worry about?"

"B-But!!" Lukas cried, turning to run back inside, "T-Too many people!"

He sighed and grabbed the boy's ear. "Do you want a spanking?"

"I'd rather be spanked for the rest of my life than go anywhere!" Lukas cried, trying to pull away from his father.
Beth sighed. She was inside of Lukas, another spirit, another body that could be pulled out, and she could walk in and out as she pleased, but Lukas' fear kept her tied inside.

He sighed and slapped his rear firmly. "Stop acting like a baby!"

Lukas cried out and threw his hands over his bottom, "B-B-But!! I!! I d-d-don't!! I don't want to! You can't m-make me!"

"Don't test me." he warned sternly.

"I'm s-s-sorry, I'm sorry!" Lukas squeaked and dived underneath a table.

"If you are, then come out now." he growled.
